If you're from Astoria you've ended up at Athens after many nights out. That being said it's also my go to for take out on regular taco craving nights. Food is authentic and delicious, plus bonus points for super fast delivery. I love local gems like this!

I got two vegetarian tacos for about $15. They were very big and very filling! Lots of great flavor. Very authentic Mexican food. The woman who served us was very nice. The restaurant is cute in a kitschy way.

This place is great. It obviously isn't part of a large chain of places, and it's nice to be supporting a small business. The food is about average mexican food, but the service was speedy and they had a good amount of seating in the back.

The cashier was rude for no reason and I felt like this business is trying to squeeze you for every cent. I ordered a quesadilla and they didn't even cut it so it was difficult and annoying to eat. The quesadilla didn't come with green sauce so i asked for one and they wanted to charge me extra (when quesadillas always come with at least one sauce). They gave me like 2 napkins so I asked for more napkins since the quesadilla was so messy to eat and the lady didn't even want to give me napkins ... Definitely never going back to this establishment. Only giving this a 2 star rating because my friend liked his torta, otherwise I would've given them a 1 star rating.

The food is over priced and the meal I order all tasted odd. It did not taste fresh at all. Felt more like a week old food
A $24 Mole Poblano takeout order came with a huge platter mole sauce with a gigantic chicken leg, containers of rice and beans, and five lovely warm tortillas. A great deal any day that lasted me two meals. The dark mole sauce was flavorful but had a thinner, more watery texture than I expected. I'd be excited to try the tacos sometime. 4% non-cash surcharge.

Don’t waste your money here, they over charged us like crazy, the food is gross and has no flavor?. So disappointed. They got me and my friends order wrong twice after we explained to them for 5 minutes what we wanted. It was a simple order. We got home and opened the bag to see the order was still wrong. On top of that the food was disgusting and had no flavor. I love Mexican food so this was very disappointed. Will never step foot in this place again.

First went there and ordered the chalupas, the @#$+** chalupas, get 'em. I ordered a torta the next time but only because I thought tostada's were what I ordered the first time because I wanted some more of them chalupas. For some reason I said tortas. I was so mad because I had the taste for those @#$+** chalupas. I cursed that poor torta out and man handled that bag, as if it was somehow the tortas fault. I was like this better be the best @#$+"" torta I ever had. Sure enough I was apologizing to the torta as I tore it up. The next time I said tostada's with confidence and again wronged. The tostada was a good tostada, wasn't as hot and heavy over it as I was the @#$+** chalupas and tostada's. THEN I FINALLY ORDERED THE RIGHT ONES AND THEY, were really good but I think they switched the flour shell to the corn one and I definitely enjoyed the flour shell a bit more. I could have also ordered the wrong thing again. Still I'll keep coming back. I find it can be a little difficult to order from on phone sometimes, they can get busy, the staff is very friendly.#@#$&**Chalupas #@#$&""torta

I had a terrible experience after 15 years of ordering. The food is absolutely amazing but the phone operator literally cursed me out for them delivering the wrong food. Not only that she said I would be never welcome there again. Also there is a shady back area.
