Probably the best xiao long nap I’ve had in the US. Also loved the duck fried rice. Service is awesome and price is reasonable.

Walked in to order for takeaway. Perhaps it being a weekday, was served quickly. We enjoyed the spicy chicken, it’s an excellent supplement to our home cook meal. Will definitely patronise again ?

Love this szechuan local spot! Their dandan noodles are bomb! Love the chili cucumber, eggplant and cold noodles. The spice packs a punch!

Great food! HOWEVER, for the prices we paid, we wish we would have gotten a better service. My MIL ordered plum wine, and the server brought her a glass of chardonnay, when we asked to replace the chardonnay with plum wine, we were told that they do not have plum wine. Not once the staff came to our table to make sure we needed anything, or to simply poor water into our glasses.Management - you might want to retrain your staff as the prices you charge should justify the service you provide.

Michelin restaurant??? Is it a joke? The food is below the average, salty and greasy.Don’t go there. Complete waste of money and time.

Beautiful interior design, cute booths, ample space despite the relatively small store footprint. Lunch sets were excellent! We ordered 2 lunch sets + an extra main which is just right for two people with large appetites. The double cooked pork and spicy chicken were exceptional - honestly a quality I’d expect in China. The eggplant dish was a bit too sweet (and I’m from an area that eats sweet) but cooked just right otherwise. Ingredient quality was excellent. Highly recommend going for lunch!

The food is horrible. Stay away from this place. Total rip off.Dietary restrictions: We asked not to make so spicy; nobody cares. and the quality of food is so bad.

Food is great I have made to-go order multiple times. Dining experience for walk-ins is terrible. I understand they need to priorize reservations but the front desk was completely unfair and baised to give us the table next to the door only even when other tables were free. Hope they can be fair and unbiased to their patrons.

Major Complaint: hey owner and chef, when a customer orders a drypot delivery, and requests additional types of meat, it is not asking for a little bit from a limited total amount; I expect a generous portion of meat for the price I paid. Why does ordering various meats result in less meat and more vegetables? Don't deceive your customer. You already did this mutliple times. I won't just stand it anymore. You don't deserve Michelin guide when you treat your customer like this. Do the right thing.
Came here twice in 2 days! Great service and amazing food! Everything we tried was great. Many options to choose from for all types of eaters. I LOVED the scallion pancakes, the Dan Dan noodles and the stewed fish dishes.

Ordered delivery because I really wanted to try a better quality of Chinese food in the LIC/Astoria area. Entrees that typically come with white rice, don't at Hupo. This is particularly odd considering how expensive they are. $20 for beef and broccoli with almost no beef in the dish. Tons of service fees when ordering through their restaurant. The food definitely isn't worth paying those prices again, so this will be my first and last time eating Hupo.
