"The low-key spot you didn't know you needed" ~The menu is divided between vegan and non-vegan ~The vegan cheese is delicious ~High-Key one of the best Shirley Temples (low-key, George Martin burger bar has the crown) ~You come to the Vegoist for the atmosphere almost as much as, for the food. ~Always chill vibes flowing through the speakers ~ GREAT service with a smile.

I absolutely LOVE Vegoist! Though I'm not vegan, having vegan options in my diet is paramount, and theirs are exceptional. I love the wraps, tacos and the calamari mushrooms (yum). For dessert, the Death By Chocolate cake lives up to its name, its amazing. If you dine in, the cocktails are delicious too. ?

For reference I am legally blind. After I arrived and had been seated, they left me alone for 45 minutes before they took away my walking stick without asking--apparently to be courteous. Horrible service. The food was ok.

I rarely leave reviews but feel obligated to do so in this case. The food was solid but was so overshadowed by the absolutely horrendous service. Never in my life have I ever received service so awful. We arrived and were seated quickly. After about 5-10 minutes a waiter came up to us and asked us for our order. We placed our order for appetizers and drinks first. After about 15 minutes, the appetizers came out. Just the appetizer plate with no plates, no utensils, and no waters. We requested water and utensils but ended up just eating it with our hands since we were hungry and it took them 5-10 min to bring the plates, utensils, and water. It was at this point that we placed our entree orders. About 5-10 min later our drinks are finally brought out. 10 minutes after that, the waitress comes back to us to ask what we ordered since she had lost our order. 20 additional minutes after that we received our food and finished it quickly since we were starving at this point about an hour after we had arrived. Of course, we had to hunt someone down at the end to pay our bill since nobody came back to the table after the entrees were dropped off. We never received water refills either. Safe to say I will never be returning here.

This place has many vegan options and each one of it was delicious...I got vegan taco mix and match and all three tacos were lit. The chicken-less (soy based), Brussel sprouts and crispy cauliflower tacos were the best !!!My friends got the burger and fries and loved it too.Coming to the vibe and service it was great too. Honestly loved everything here. Will be back here again!
My favorite restaurant in Astoria. It's quirky and comfortable. And has one of the best vegan menus in town. The tacos are especially good. 100% vegan approved! Been at least a dozen times and have never had a bad experience here but I do wish they would play less club-like music.
