I’m a regular customer but I’m not going back to this place ..I noticed they kept changing the prices and some of their prices items aren’t even worth it exp ::: very small cookie for $1.50 ..come on now ..for real ..they also sold a cake that is worth $40 to $45 for $60 To a customer in front of me …ridiculous…

As I always stroll down the Steinway street on my way to somewhere I've made a stop at this cafe plenty of times. I will say that with the variety of deserts they offer none ever stand out to me. I am a big cake fanatic. I will always order desert when I go out for dinner. I would describe it as not bad but it's not great if you compare to authentic French patisserie. If you don't make comparisons then you will like it! Their front of the house are always super nice and helpful and will double check about allergy ingredients and what not. Generally I am a satisfied customer but if I want real French baked goods I will go elsewhere. They have tables outside with umbrellas and little fence so you can enjoy your lunch/coffee break in complete peace!

I bought assorted varieties of macaroons here, but half of them were stale, hard to bite and had chemical cheap flavors. Paid $26 for 10 macaroons, most of them ended in the trash can, waste of money.

Finally I've found true French cakes here. before I bought cakes from [Paris baguette] and very disappointed. paris baguette' cakes are fake french cakes. But this [paris bakery] 's cakes are just like french cakes. I'm glad that I can eat true french cakes in Astoria. but some cakes like cheese cakes are usual american cakes. in all new york, I don't find true french cakes. but this store is!

After a four day trip in Manhattan, before leaving to the airport we stopped here for a sweet treat and it was awesome! Not only they have the best desserts we tried these days but the best part is the service! The personal touch that was lacking in Manhattan we found it here? 100% recommended!
