Ecuadorian food needs more love. Come here to get some love.Big time flavor in the pernil, those potato cake things are friggin awesome, the Ecuadorian ceviche is truly awesome. Less limey than other ceviche but almost more buttery? Idk.OH there's an awesome cocktail that's green, refreshing, and perfectly tart that I can't remember. If you ask for recommendations they'll prob give it to ya. Trust me on this

Loved my entire experience here. Really busy at 1pm for lunch but well worth the wait . Food took sometime to come out but when it did , it was so fresh and straight out the stove. Prices are amazing for the amount of food you get. Huge portions and everything delicious! The cheese Bolon was my favorite ! The fish encebollado was amazing. The ceviche too. I can't wait to go back !

Unfortunately tik tok lied about this place. The meat is dry, the bolon has no taste and the ceviche isn’t good at all, taste like ketchup. I ate the shrimp and left the whole soups, 18 bucks for nothing! Btw there was literally 8 shrimp in my ceviche. Mediocre food at expensive prices. Not worth the hype, the time or price. The food isn’t great, although the place is beautiful inside. The service is decent, but I wouldn’t ever come back. This place is for non-Ecuadorian people who do not know about the taste from back home.Focus on kids menus as well.

If you are looking for an Ecuadorian restaurant with typical dishes from the coast and mountains and affordable prices? You have to come to Rincon Melania. And don't forget to try the delicious canezalo for the cold

A bit out of the way in Long Island City but totally worth the visit if you want to have some of the best ceviche in your life. Get the mixed ceviche with tostones and ask for extra green sauce, it is out of this world. Their Noodles and Cheese soup is also amazing!
