Great food and they give large portions. Pancakes and western style omelettes are excellent. Dessert is baked fresh. I enjoy the rice pudding. My man enjoys the strawberry cheesecake...

I decided to dine at this restaurant due to its proximity to my college, offering a convenient 40-minute break between classes for a substantial meal. Given my time constraints, I promptly placed an order over the phone, requesting swift preparation. The fact that they accommodated my request suggests that the establishment wasn't exceptionally busy at the time - a courtesy I genuinely appreciated. Upon arrival, my food was promptly served, exhibiting a steaming hot presentation, seemingly ready for consumption. However, the overall quality fell short of expectations. Specifically, the chosen burger displayed an overcooked texture with a somewhat pre-frozen and dry quality, contributing to a lackluster dining experience. As I approached the end of my meal, the restaurant unexpectedly experienced a surge in customers following the conclusion of a local college event. Being the nearest dining option, the establishment quickly became inundated. It was apparent that the staff was stretched thin, with only one waiter and two visible counter/runners. The sudden influx resulted in a 15-minute wait before I took the initiative to approach a counter/runner person to accurately ring up my order based on my verbal description. While I acknowledge the initial convenience and the accommodating response to my time constraints, the overall experience was marred by subpar food quality and the challenge of dealing with the unexpected rush. Consequently, I find myself inclined to return to this establishment only out of necessity, rather than any genuine desire to do so.

The food is alway delicious but unfortunately with everything else, it's way too expensive... I ordered a Leo omelette with avocados and a bagel, nothing to drink and was close to $30. that will have to be my last time. I'll miss it but it's not worth that price.

We stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The food was quick and tasty, the server was very attentive and polite, and the pricing was quite reasonable.

I went to Van Dam diner with my new coworkers today. I've been here quite a few times before and the service and food were dependably excellent. The ambiance is a classic diner with booth seating. My coworkers had a great time chatting and eating. I adored my Mexican burger. Cheddar, jalapeños, salsa and avocado are the best combo for a burger! The burger itself was beefy and flavorful. The sweet potato fries were crisp and sturdy for double-dipping in my ketchup and mayo. I had an awesome lunch!
