We always pass by this place so we decided to finally go here for dinner, to start off the food wasReally good. The sushi was fresh and tasty , the hibachiwas good as well I got the filet and shrimp hibatchi combo with fried rice and veggies , the food was good everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I have to say though unfortunately the service wasn’t good, the staff is nice but they are very slow. We waiting a really long time for our drinks and our soups and salads. Then finally the hibachi chef came out, we waiting a long time for our sushi to be made so it was like everything came out at once because it all took a very long time , then even at the end we waited a while for our check , so if you want a fairly quick meal do not come here because they take a very long time for everything, but if you want good sushi and hibachi then come here !! 6/10 because of the service unfortunately.

We picked this place based off the good reviews, however we got the 1 star service. I will say this review is based off a slow Tuesday night rather than a busy weekend experience and that for sure effected the experience. We came in about 8pm, 2 hours before closing. The staff was very attentive which later translated into they were rushing us out the door, we just didn’t realize. To start, the was no atmosphere and it was freezing. The drinks were good and a very generous pour. However our fried calamari appetizer was very chewy and came with hair in it. The waitress was very apologetic and took it off the bill. We ordered a hibachi combination and a bento box. They came out about 5minutes apart! While the food wasn’t BAD, it wasn’t very good either. The hibachi plate was drowning in a watery teriyaki sauce and the portions in the Bento box were off. Also avocado rolls were ordered but California rolls is what came out.Lastly, the most annoying part of the experience, within the first 10 minutes of getting our food, the waitress came and checked in on us 3 times. We thought she was just trying to ensure we were happy after the hair incident. By the 5/6th time and asking if we wanted a to go box a few times, she let us know they were closing. On Google it says they close at 10, she said this about 915. We were just trying to finish our meal, we had JUST received but by 930 the ENTIRE staff was sitting in the dinning room, coats on waiting for us to go. Obviously at that point we got the hint, downed our drinks and got out of there. Now I understand slow nights and wanting to close early, but geez a little tact would’ve went a long way.By other reviews it might be worth it to visit at a different time, however I also see there’s other reviews of hair being found in food, so clearly their sanitary practices aren’t up to standard. We won’t be back that’s for sure.

This experience was not what I expected and I'm thoroughly disappointed in my time and the food. We ordered take out and when we checked out, we had ordered 88 dollars of food and received mediocre portions and food that not only was cold but not of quality flavor. Our order was "gyoza" which weren't real gyoza, 2 hand rolls which were decent, and 2 specialty rolls which were barely put together or cooked where the menu indicated cooked meat. It felt like $5 sushi for an $88 price tag. There was no redeeming qualities about the food except that it was over quickly. Our food was on "sale" so they value our food at over 120, which is Even more outrageous.I've eaten sushi at a bunch of places and I'd steer clear of Asahi.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! The staff are all so nice and this is literally the best hibachi place I have ever been to! The food was great, and I really recommend trying the fried ice cream. The prices seem pretty reasonable for me too. I have only been here twice, but this place definitely deserves more than just 5 stars. I definitely want to come again for sure. Forget all the other hibachi places, this one is my new favorite!

I've been to plenty of hibachi places but this has to be one of the best. You could tell the ingredients were very fresh and although on the pricier side, the amount of food you get is insane. Everything tasted amazing, even the Mongolian beef (which I was surprised to see on the menu), the sushi was also good. I would like to point out that the kid's hibachi meal is the exact amount of food as the adult meal but at a lesser price ($16 instead of $22). As far as the hibachi chef, they are amazing showman with great culinary and entertaining skills, although our chef that night was bit over the top, lol. The experience was fun for kids and adults alike. The location was also appealing to the eye.

What a great time. We went with some friends on NYE and had a blast. The restaurant is your standard hibachi place, well decorated and casual. The food is amazing, and the talented chefs make sure you have fun. Worth a visit!

What a wonderful hibachi place! Really great for kids too. Our hibachi chef was easily the most entertaining we have ever encountered. Extremely kid fun and friendly. And mostImportantly the food tasted great. It’s a real hibachi place so don’t expect things like sushi etc. highly recommended especially for families with kids.

The staff was friendly and attentive. They took caution as we had two people with allergies with us. The food was amazing.
