This is my new favorite wine bar. The wine list is extensive. The service is attentive. The food is appetizing! Located just a couple minutes' walk from the Lynbrook LIRR, It is the place to be.

Great neighborhood spot! Menu changes often but they keep the staples. Always new, different wines, beers and cocktails. Sliders, truffle mac, fries and mussels are always on the menu. Great date spot. Awesome meat and cheese boards and the selection changes weekly. They do open mic night on Wednesdays with half price bottles of wine. Sangria is epic (red, white, rose, seasonal). Saturday's bottles of sangria is $20. During the summer outdoor seating is very enjoyable. There is a lounge/couch area thats intimate and can seat a group about 12 people. Staff is always pleasant. Dominic is one of the owners and is always there checking in on all on all the guests or sitting down having a conversation. They often do live music on weekends. Popular place to host parties up to 60 people and they are very accommodating with the menu or whatever else. Active on Instagram so give them a follow, sometimes the hours change or they're closed for a private event or post when they have live music. Beautiful, intimate space with a great staff. Thank you!

Love this place! Whether we are looking to go out with friends or just the 2 of us, Il Pozzo never disappoints. Their house-made sangria is fantastic! They also have a great beer selection (for the husband) as well as a full bar for mixed drinks (who doesn't love an old-fashioned?).

One of my favorite places! The food, drinks and atmosphere are all amazing! Also, I had my baby shower there in February 2022 and every single guest of mine said they had a fantastic time and would come back!! Highly recommend whether it's a Wednesday night or a Saturday night! Always amazing!!!!!! Highly highly recommend!!!!!!!

Il Pozzo Wine Bar and Kitchen has been open for a few years right in the heart of Lynbrook Village. Located on the corner, this venue allows for a laid back feel while also making you feel like you are in a more trendy setting. I called ahead to make a reservation and we were given a table in the front corner, which allowed us to have a birds eye view of all the happenings. There is an energetic vibe in this place, and patrons all seemed happy and like they were enjoying themselves. Our server greeted us promptly and provided us with menus. The manager or owner, not sure which, came over next and suggested a glass of their homemade sangria. We opted for a bottle of it to share. SPECTACULAR! Since this establishment is noted for serving tapas, we tried to sample as many things as possible. THE GROWS: Our water glasses were not refilled while we dined until we asked, well into our meal. Parking is on-street and there are a few municipal lots nearby. The LIRR station is nearby and you will get a ticket if you are not authorized to park there. CAVEAT: READ THE SIGNS! This may deter some diners because many Long Islanders expect the ease of parking and not having to walk far. DO NOT LET THIS DETER YOU. THE GLOWS: Let's talk about their truffle mac and cheese. Pasta was a perfect al dente, the truffle cheese sauce was not oily and the quality of the truffle oil was noticeable (I am a truffle snob and will do anything for a mushroom). The mushroom quesadilla shared the same hint of truffle. The gambas al ajillo (Spanish style garlic shrimp) had some heat to it. The shrimp were HUGE. The sliders were served on a slate with fresh buns and high quality beef. The sliders alone were a meal since you were given three. Overall, a pleasant experience. Moderately priced and many omnivore and herbivore options. I would highly recommend stopping by on a weeknight to get the best feel before venturing on a busier weekend. All staff was pleasant and food was prepared as ordered. This is a hidden gem in Lynbrook that is a must-try and one I will definitely be back to!

I probably had one of the best burgers ever. My wife loved her sliders. Great truffle fries and delicious Ceasars salad went very well with their sangria. A great spot for a quick dinner before a movie. Definitely coming g back.
Live music, service was good, food was good even though a little salty for my taste, drinks a little watered down, nice ambiance, outdoor seating available.

I visited here about a year ago and I thought it felt like an unpolished gem. Service was off, but the food was good, if not memorable. Well, it still feels that way a year later. The service still feels a bit "off" and the staff overwhelmed, but this time there was a marked improvement in the food. Mac & Cheese with truffle was actually better than the first time I had it. Mushroom quesadilla was much better than I expected. We shared the steak, which was a bit overcooked but very tender and the steak sauce was great. Also, for a wine bar, the list is a bit small.

My husband and I have gone here a few times and we always have a great experience. Our favorites are the truffle Mac and their calamari is amazing. It's a nice place to go if you just want to relax and talk . The last few Wednesdays we've gone to they have open mic night which is always nice to watch. We have tried some of their other items and everything is usually very good.

I wanted to like this place. The ambience is great, convenient location by the LIRR, but the food was passable at best. The lollipop lamb chops were terrible, pretty sure they were cooked from frozen. The burger was ordered medium rare and came well done. The calamari was great, hence the 2 stars.
