Great service as usual, but the canoli cake was very disappointing this time around. Very little filling compared to Thanksgiving.

Excellent bakery. Needs an interior freshening up. Change ceiling tiles. Paint. Would do the place wonders.

I ordered a specialty cake from a different bakery called Hannoli for my daughters first birthday and in transit it got messed up. My sister in law stopped at Prosperi on a whim and the owner was sooooo nice!!!!! They fixed it for FREE!!! I will now be going to Prosperi from now on!

Prosperi is the best little bakery around. We have been buying cookies and treats from them as long as I can remember! They are always willing to go the extra mile, and their cookies are the BEST. So good that we get them shipped back to the Midwest when we can't make the trips home (and they always arrive perfectly intact!) The hardest part is having to share ? highly recommend.

Old world Italian bakery and pastry shop. All items are phenomenally fresh.I love their anisette toast. My wife loves all their chocolate pastries. We both love their Italian pastries and cookies. We will be visiting weekly. (Have already been doing that for 4 months now).

I'm thinking about launching a new TV show "The Pignoli Cookie Hunter". I have been eating around bakeries looking for the perfect pignoli cookie. Any flaw in a pignoli cookie is very noticeable. I have been over charged for bad pignoli cookies unfortunately all around Long Island lately. So my next stop was Prosperi... a tiny little bakery a block from the heart of Lynbrook on Atlantic Ave. It's like stepping into a time machine from the old school neighborhood of previous generations. I'm guessing the recipes are all from that previous generation, as are the prices (well not exactly, but best bang for the buck IMO). I was offered a taste of a pignoli cookie, the kind young woman actually offered us two, one for each of us. We then loaded up on pignoli cookies, and picked up an Oreo cheese cake just because. We were not disappointed - today's Sunday supper, pot of sauce, had the perfect punctuation of dessert and espresso. Highly recommend, and I hope these cookies remain consistent. I will be back.

Came here for a Christmas idea the day before xmas eve. Owner’s daughter so helpful and positive. Arranged shells and pastry bag for “Fill Your Own” concept we could execute on xmas eve. Can’t wait to come back for cookies and bread. It’s an easy place to miss. Never judge a book by the cover!
