Dinner here was a wonderful experience… The food is delicious… The ambience feels like eating at a restaurant in Venice, Italy…The staff was great.. Thanks for an awesome night

This is my 2nd review of this stellar restaurant. Yes, it's higher priced. That said, for special nights out, or any night you want an absolutely, without a doubt, food experience, this is THE establishment.Their sauces are superb, lending intense flavor to any dish you may order. Everything is perfect; everything was hot or cold as needed.Even the dessert tartufo was insanely intense. Run, don't walk!

Il Villagio is a small restaurant, located off the "beaten path", in Malverne. I would consider the food and service upscale, gourmet Italian. During the warmer weather there is outdoor seating available. If a few people are dining, order the Hot Antipasti app. Main course: a bit pricey but probably the best veal chop you have ever tasted. Don't care for veal? Then have the Baby Rack of Lamb. If you are not a meat lover and Halibut is on the menu then that's your choice my friend....read full review
