I have gone here for 30 years! Was always excellent food not anymore! I noticed the ladies at the counter are no longer there and the kitchen staff may have changed as well because the food is horrible. We ordered Beef & broccoli a simple dish it was dripping with water there is no longer a thick savory sauce, boneless spare ribs no longer sweet & sticky, fried rice horrible. We tried them 3 times over the past 2 months to give them a shot and see if it was a fluke. Unfortunately it wasn’t! Too bad Lum Yen & Tung Hoy are long gone!

I have loved this place since the day it opened It was a mom and dad operation and they WERE fabulous. I watched as their children were born and grew up into the business. Over the years as other family members have joined as cooks and front of house and it came down to I would only order if MOM was running the store--she was good at control and quality. Even she can no longer save this business. The last order I placed (and it is the last order I will ever place there) was inedible and disgusting. The boneless ribs (moms specialty) were cooked until there were so dried out I honestly thought I would crack a tooth trying to eat them. The General Tsao chicken, the sesame chicken, Vegetable lo mein all had no flavor and were cooked horribly. Even the white rice side was not good. Add to that they now surcharge (excessively) for all payment methods other than cash. Knowing this store as well as I do I called politely and talked to MOM about this. I did not even ask her to remake anything. She just sharply quipped back "that things have changed." I said goodbye and let her know it is irrevocable. I cannot support this business any longer or ever again.

I've been going to this place for years, but don't know what's happening the last time I ordered. The sesame chicken was SO try, it's was like eating chalk. The hot and sour soup was so watery and so much sugar. I had to toss all of them out. Not going back again.

Solid American Chinese take out. Reminds me of take out from the Bronx. Combo plates. Affordable prices. Also, I have a food allergy and they are able to accommodate it which is a win.
When it comes to Chinese food I feel you have to crave something about it, to play it safe I normally go for the fried rice, I ordered the veggie one to be exact from this place. I was just a little hungry. I figured that and an egg roll would do for dinner after having ice cream not too long ago elsewhere. However, this was legit some bad rice, it looked as bad as the photos advertised, I hate that but it's true. It's fine price for value but definitely wouldn't recommend or return. The fried rice was like stale tasting and just not good. The egg roll wasn't bad but I prefer a veggie option as opposed to shrimp. The only other was pork. I'm sure they have some decent items on the menu but as for the rice don't get it here. That's all for now.

I called in an order for pick up. They messed up the order. When I tried to explain that they didn’t give me what I ordered and it would have made my family member sick because of an allergy they became dismissive and extremely rude. And she proceeded to talk about me. I go here all the time but this was the first negative experience. I won’t be returning.
