I had an outstanding wedge here. I decided to try an eggplant Parm wedge and it was on the perfect seeded roll. The eggplant was sliced really thin the way I like it and it was cheesy and just delicious! The staff is really friendly and they chat with you. They also have a hot food bar at the end. There are many specialty items here that I will be trying!

I am obsessed with this authentic Italian market. Old school all the way. The products are unique, and the variety is amazing. If you are a pasta person, this place is for you. It's an encyclopedia of pasta on the back wall. The people behind the counter are adorable and very helpful. All the prepared food is delicious. And I am very fussy. Best Italian bread and the breadsticks are my real draw. I cannot live without them.

REAL Italian delicatessen, or I should say, salumeria. Prosciutto and sopressata hanging from the ceiling, real stuff, not just for show. A great many imported brands on the shelf. They do breakfast and lunch. Hot lunch selection is not only delicious but a great value for your $. The lunch crowd moves fast. I’ve been a customer since birth, my mom was a customer before me.

I use to go to Casa. But no more. I have found my favorite spot, finally. Takes me back to Astoria. I can not get enough. Btw they own the amazing bakery next door you can go grab some pastry & or cookies with an expresso after.

Great selection and prices, and a nice little market within the deli, where you can find some interesting imported savory and sweet snacks, pastas, sauces, drinks, etc. Customized sandwiches are actually encouraged, and they don't bang you over the head for doing so. Moreover, the staff is really nice, helpful, and unpretentious...the polar opposite of that deluded douchebag at Dante's.
