Prior to landing on our cake, a mix between a tres-leche and strawberry shortcake, Constance provided samples of different wedding cakes for us to try at home. She was super responsive to all our questions along the way, and created our wedding cake that was raved about by all our guests. I headed up to Hudson Valley for my birthday this weekend and I had my fiancé order me a cake from here. From what he'd mentioned, the person on the phone was somewhat difficult to deal with and wasn't sure if they could order the cake. Cake ended up being competed on time, but I'd like to say it was executed in a lackluster fashion at best. Maybe my standards are high, but the cake was extremely dry and tasted like it was frozen months ago and defrosted. Additionally, icing tastes of pure sugar... For the price of the cake, very disappointing don't recommend for cakes, but hope the pastries are good

Absolutely amazing packaging. Used the colors for the wedding for ribbon. Made a beautiful sticker for the back with a personal message. Great pricing. Really enjoyed working with them.. will definitely be back!!

What a shame, the Chocolate Chip Almond Slices biscotti cookies should be renamed to raisin biscotti cookies. They no longer have the title they claim to have. What a disappointment. Will not be buying them anymore.

These are some of the best biscottis I have ever had. I walked in the shop it was like walking into heaven. The cakes and cookies were beautiful. It is holiday time and you know the cut out cookies you decorate with frosting. The cookies were perfect not to thick and the icing on top did not send your glucose souring. There was a coconut cake hat belonged a magazine cover. I will be back and they also ship. I will see them soon again.

Our go to birthday and special occasions bakery! As well as every day treats! We love the diversity that they bring to their holiday cookies and our daughter has always loved the colorful sugar cookie choices! The key lime pie is amazing!
Stumbled upon this place while exploring the town area. We had a lovely breakfast here and will definitely be back again. The service was also sweet. The coffee is good too and so is the egg and turkey sausage roll. We also had a few samples of the pumpkin bread and it was soo moist!

I LOVE their gluten-free chocolate cake!! Amazing!! It is also made without almonds which is a rare find. You would never be able to tell since it tastes so delicious and I am finally able to bring something to a party that everyone loves as well. Their customer service is incredible! Thank you for going the extra mile. What a great bakery!

Let me start off by saying I generally do not like chocolate cakes... at all. My wife and daughter on the other hand love them. How did we come to know about Hudson Valley Baking? We bought a car!! LOL. Seriously. When we were done, we were asked what kind of cake we like! The dealership had 4 or 5 selections. I was all for the carrot cake or cheesecake, but my daughter heard chocolate mousse and that is what she wanted. I capitulated.Well... upon having it for dessert tonight, everyone loved it. My wife said this is what chocolate mousse is supposed to taste like! She said it's a very traditional chocolate mousse. My daughter loved it as well. The biggest surprise - I really liked it as well.I read the other review and it says they are not open to the public, that is too bad! We looked at some of the selections and would love to try many of them!!!

Outrageous deliciousness. You must get their signature chocolate marble mousse cake and their chocolate croissant. I ordered the cake as a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday and it is so fluffy, soft, fresh, rich. The epitome of an incredible chocolate cake. Chocolate frosting is through-the-roof amazing. They personalized it beautifully, a message from our dog :) Their chocolate croissant is also packed with their high-quality chocolate and is a must-get when stopping by. The bakers and employees also are happy - they are patient and cheerful and you can tell the bakers genuinely take pride in what they do. You can taste the love. 5 Stars!!!!!!!!!!

Just delicious & delightful! I love this place. I made a large order for my wedding. They baked a 2-tier wedding cake, nearly 100 custom bride & groom sugar cookies, 2 dozen custom succulent cupcakes & a 9" Amaretto cake. Plus, some gluten-free goodies. HVD helped us select the flavors & designs for the desserts. I emailed them photos, to give them an idea of what I like. Everything was very reasonably priced. The shop is filled with top-notch pastry artists, who know how to bake up delicious treats! If I could give them a 6-star rating, I would.
