This place is go-to for comfort food. The tallarin and chicken soup are always a hit for the uninitiated palates. And if you want some Peruvian soul food, they've got breakfast on weekends and everything in between. Their hot sauce is homemade and absolutely perfect. You could drink it out of the bottle. Wash your meal down with a chicha morado. You'll be glad you did.

Best Peruvian restaurant in westchester county. The entire food menu is great. I highly recommend trying some of the imported Peruvian beers and beverages.

I love it , I live near whiteplains with numerous peruvian restaurants . I think most of the places in Whiteplains are overrated and I always make the trip here instead

Hostess doesn't know absolutely anything. Can't get Inca kola for lunch but please market it as the lunch special. Soup for lunch... when it says salad and soda. Marketed incorrectly. 20 min for a lunch order to come out is outrageous. Never again.

Disgusting place!! full of baby rats which means there’s more. our server told us that she would get the manager but the manager never came. the place was empty when we got there and now we know why.

I go to La Gladys for their ceviches, and fried yucas. Sometimes for takeout. Not great atmosphere nor service.
Stick to simpler dishes. Stay *away from the seafood. Mussels (in entree) were the kinds you find at a Chinese buffet, and the calamari was "stringy" and inedible. Breaded chicken was inedible, ceviche was fantastic. Just stay away from "seafood" and stick with the basics.
Food was horrible. Incredibly dry, no seasoning and ripped off for what I paid. Never will eat here

I have dined twice at Gladys and thoroughly enjoyed the Lomo Saltado, the Hungry Man Steak, and ceviche.Atmosphere was decent, clean.. nothing extraordinary. Service was fast.Prices were fair as well.My only issue comes with the waitress rounding change UP to skim some off the top. I work hard for my money and I'll tip based on the quality of the service. You do not have the right to keep my change. I came twice (once dine un, and once take out) to see if it would happen again.Come and enjoy the food but beware of penny pinchers folks

Authentic Peruvian food. Delicious entrees with rice or fries and a well made mojito to wash it all down. Full (but small) bar. They start you out with a small bowl of Cancha (corn nuts) perfectly salted while you decide on your meal. Then you order from an extensive menu of meats and seafood. I have been here a dozen times and have yet to find a dish that isn't amazing. The fried steak with onions or the chicken Saltado or any of the seafood dishes. They have a good selection of desserts as well. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. The prices are surprisingly cheap as you can get most entrees for under $20.

My friends and I have been frequenting this place for lunch. It is one of our local favorites. I have not been there for dinner or when they are really busy. There chicken is terrific. My friends have scaled back to the 1/4 chicken because the 1/2 was just too much food. Most of the staff speaks Spanish but you can always order by #. One reviewer complained about fries being soggy, but it is Peruvian cuisine where they often mix the fries into the the other food. I assume you could order them on the side. I have had the fried fish, and one of the Peruvian pasta dishes and loved everything. The green sauce they put on the table makes even their rice a treat. This is not a white tablecloth place. There are locals eating authentic food from their country of origin. The prices are good, especially for the amount of food you get. We have never had an issue with service or the bill.
