Pizza is always great. Very friendly staff. This place is cash only, but they do have ATM on site. I have been going here since I was a teenager, and now I bring my sin here, and he loves their pepperoni pizza.

Can’t comment on the service or atmosphere because we did take out.The Sicilian was not worth the hype … at all !I’m actually really disappointed and don’t understand how this won best pizza. The pie lacked sauce and salt. The dough was fine but there was just nothing special about it at all. I didn’t take a bite and say “wow this is good pizza !!!” And that’s what I was expecting to do.Save your money, go someplace else.

Always great dating back to the 70's. I'm gonna try and meatball sub for a change. I almost always get pizza. Very busy as usual. Service is very good. You can't beat the prices. And I found parking in front of the post office.

Love the Sicilian pizza, love the regular (Neapolitan) pizza. The Neapolitan has a nice thin crust, if you want it crispy, order it well done like I do. Their pizza sauce is just right. It can get crowded in the evenings, but the line moves pretty fast. All the pizzas are made to order.

Seriously good, both the NY thin style and especially the Sicilian - get a corner slice with fresh basil.

While on a road trip home to Boston we pulled off at Mamaroneck to grab a bite and stretch our legs. As soon as we entered this establishment we were immediately told to leave as my service dog was not allowed in this business. This was not only completely uncalled for, it's also AGAINST THE LAW. The employee who wouldn't even look me in the eyes as he told me to leave blamed it on his boss. If considering this business please take into account the way we were treated when just trying to have a quick slice.

I have been going to Sal's for as long as I can remember. Growing up we'd go out for dinner at least once a week to Sal's. Now we do take out on Fridays and it's just as good. Sal's is the place you go to for a homey feeling with some of the best pizza/hot dishes. When I talk to people and they tell me they only eat the pizza, I always tell them they need to get the penne vodka or the gnocchi. By far my favorite two pastas! The people that work there are always the same and some of the nicest people. Service is always great, but plan on waiting to sit at time because sitting is limited. It's worth the wait though!

After all of the recommendations from neighbors and Westchester Magazine, I finally tried Sal's Pizzeria famous Sicilian Pizza. Reviews were spot on. With Sal's Sicilian, and their regular slices as well, it's all about their ingredients. My wife and I went there last Saturday for lunch and we sat down and devoured our slices. Sal's is a cozy neighborhood spot with adequate seating, lovely family vibe with beer sales as well. I'll definitely be coming back there soon

No explanation needed. They're the benchmark for pizza. As long as I've been alive Sal's has had a line out the door on weekends and some weeknights. Bring cash.

This view is Sicilan-based. So I ate here years ago and wasn't impressed. I think we had a plain pie but not sure. I came back to give it another shot but had seen someone's photos of their Sicilian. It looked cheesy and good so that's what I had my sights on. I am going to give it four stars instead of three right now. Reason being, I didn't get to judge the plain so it feels unfair--nor any other menu items. Anyway, there was a great amount of cheese, the crust was good and texture pretty good. However, I felt the flavor was really lacking. At first when I grabbed a little piece of cheese to try I was pleasantly surprised, it tasted good. But as I went on to take bites I felt that it was a bit too mild for me on the flavor. Pretty "mid" I think is the word used nowadays. I would give the Sicilian slice a 4 or 5 out of 10. Service was good, no complaints.

Favorite place to go when I visit westchester! The salad pizza is divine. Also really love the Sicilian- you can request the corner if you'd like! Small quaint seating area that does the job for a pizzeria. Also love the garlic knots! This place never misses. Think, crisp bottom, very little droop!
