This new restaurant is really impressive in both food and service with extra TLC. With the bread comes with a spread made of sun dried tomatoes and olive oil. Eye opening. The pear salad is refreshing. An appetizer with shrimp ceviche is sweet and fresh. Halibut is cooked to perfection. The oxtail pasta made an impression.
We had a large family celebration at Osteria Delbianco (Bryant Park), and the occasion couldn't have turned out better. Upon arriving, Andrea had a beautifully set table for us which accommodated our request for a round table. It was a long table with two semi-circular ends. It worked perfectly. We were in the rear of the dining room which worked well for us in being able to visit with one another while still feeling a part of the restaurant and ambiance it afforded. Very nice upscale Italian. Pricey but worth it. Started with scallops over lentils appetizer ($29), which excellent. Then had the linguine vongole which wife said was excellent. I had the tagliatelle with. Meat ragu. Also, perfectly seasoned and nice sized portion. Enjoyed with a glass of nice dry rose and a glass of super Tuscan.
