Say, it seems to have declined. Used to be THE ice cream stand to go to in CNY. It was the ice cream stand out if a Norman Rockwell print.Went there last year (2022) and it seems like they changed the soft ice cream…..NOT for the better. It seemed way different than the ice cream I remember. Haven’t been back since.Nelson Creamery opened on RTE 20 outside of Cazenovia, and it’s fantastic. They have actual custard.
Good selection of ice creams and conveniently located with lots of parking space. It can (and does) get busy during the evenings. This time, we ordered floats and slushies, and they both were good.

Great ice cream options, and the staff are always smiling and helpful. Wish there was some indoor seating for those hot and stormy days, but the outside tables and grass areas are nice. The pond is also a great little walk, and a nice way to enjoy the Sno Top treat. If in Manlius, you have to try!
