We were recently there for our anniversary. I ordered a steak and my s/o ordered shrimp scampi. I ordered my steak med rare and received a really well done steak. I asked for it to be remade and I received a slightly seared raw steak not even close to be considered rare. On the other hand my s/o ordered shrimp scampi and received perfect pasta but shrimp that looked like a majority of them weren't cleaned. Overall I am extremely disappointed.

The restaurant is beautiful and clean. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We did have a rather large party but we all only ordered entrees and we waited well over an hour for the food to come out. Our party was able to have 3 rounds of drinks before we received our food and that is after we asked if they would check on our order. My fiancee and I were not too hungry as we had a late lunch so we only ordered appetizers as our entrees. The tacos were bland, the sauce on the side was ok, it really just added heat not any real flavor. The fries were bland and needed a few more minutes in the fryer and some salt. The Steak Tidbits were pretty good. Teriyaki sauce tends to be very overpowering in general so sadly I didn't taste any real garlic from the garlic bread portion. I really wanted to like this place but the rest of my party reported the same with their orders, bland and underwhelming. Hopefully this was an off night but we are not sure if we will return for a second try. Beautiful place though.

We spent valentines at one of our favorite local places yesterday, it was really busy our reservation was at 7 the height of dinner rush. We enjoyed every aspect of JC’s from the hostess to the servers to the much needed delicious dinner and ambiance! We started with chicken nachos and garlic bread, main course we had Norwegian lamb chops on a mountain of potatoes yum! I ordered the panko chicken with baby rigatonis peas buratta in a sherry sauce and what a trip to flavor town! The food here never disappoints even when we order takeout it’s always delicious. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner what a lovely hard working lady! All that she does to provide the best experience shines bright through her staff and patrons. We tested out little cheese cakes that were outrageous I don’t even like cheesecake and I ate them at first not knowing what they were. they were creamy and yummy and delicious I didn’t know I could like something so much that I didn’t like anywhere else. The strawberry was Huge and I ate every last bit we were stuffed I had to take home almost half of my dinner which we ate today! Jcs you do a exemplary service to our town thank you for a wonderful night, my pictures don’t do your food justice but I’m posting them anyway lol!

My boyfriend and i went here for dinner and Lauren was our server. She was very nice and attentive and had great knowledge of the menu! She had great recommendations as well. The food was amazing and cooked perfectly. The food came out quickly and she paid close attention to us even though she had multiple other tables! Definitely a great asset to the JC's team. Will definitely be back
