“We ordered here this evening and we were impressed! The food is much better than the rest of the Chinese restaurants we've ordered from , you can tell they use better quality meats and vegetables . From my phone in order to pick up the staff is friendly and pleasant ( don't see that a lot these days ! ) so with that all we have finally found our go to place . Only bummer closed on Sundays.“

“Great burger, great appetizers and a slew of fantastic drinks. There seem to be more staff and folks tending the bar that I seem to remember over the last couple of years but there's nothing wrong with that. For the locals the wherehouse is definitely a comfortable place to go, a great place to hang out on the weekends especially in the summer. Tons of parking around the area and lots of other little things to go and see as well on Liberty street. But with the live music and the good food you can spend a couple hours here without a problem.“

“The cucumber salads were both very good and refreshing. The lo mein was super tasty, great quality. There is a generous amount of dumplings for an affordable price! I got the vegetarian ones which were okay, but the pork and scallion ones were amazing! I'm getting those next time! The egg drop soup was good, but it had sesame oil in it, which I am not used to and would have preferred it without.“

“Here was great, I came in ordered shrimp and broccoli lunch special with white rice and BBQ beef teriyaki skewers, the staff was very friendly and made sure to take my order correctly and started right away making it. Nice change of pace to find a place that good to customers and starts the food fast. I barely waited 5 minutes and my order was ready, as like wow less than usual 10-15 minutes standard. Plus thanked for my order as well. So for the food, shrimp were cooked perfectly same with broccoli and bathed in plenty of sauce, so glad they were not cheap with it, skewers were tender and flavorful. Even though it took a shorter than usual time to it, there was no loss in quality. I did notice this first place I found not to offer a soup with lunch specials, was bummed about that, but on the flip side their lunch specials were cheaper overall price point.“

“This is a Chinese take-out. Delicious food. Taste like the old place in the 44 plaza or the place that used to be on Main st. But it is take-out only.Vegetarian options: Any dish can be made vegetarian or Vegan even.Dietary restrictions: They make it fresh to order. So you can ask for things not to be added.“

“took a day trip up to newburgh/beacon from nyc and was really craving chinese food and found this spot. we got general tso's and crab rangoon. good portion sizes and well-seasoned, not too saucy. definitely want to come back just for the general tso's!“

“Personally, I believe this place has the best Chinese food I've had....I normally get the BBQ spare ribs and sweet n' sour chicken, and it's always good. The only negative thing is they don't deliver, but you can always use DoorDash.“

“As I walked inside this Japanese restaurant it is decorated in dark woods so I immediately felt like I was in a Japanese spa. I was immediately greeted and seated. I had stopped in for lunch and ordered a chicken udon soup and a small sake. My first time trying sake, I have nothing to compare to but I did enjoy it as it sat well in my stomach. The broth was light, fresh mushrooms, carrots and bok choy. There was half hard boiled egg. On the side was hot pepper oil to give my soup a kick. I also added soy sauce for added flavor. The bowl was a good size as I was able to finish it completely. Their restrooms are very clean and parking was a free city lot across the street. No meters on the street but parking wasn't available.“

“The food was really good and so affordable! You can get a plate from the buffet for around $7. I ordered sautéed broccoli w/ white rice and got a buffet plate of lo mein, egg roll, butter potatoes, and fried rice! The flavors were there and the food was hot!“

“It's a great little deli, breakfast and lunch they are great. They have a lunch buffet that's being turn over every five to ten minutes because so many people go there for lunch. They also have hot and cold sandwiches. They have some Chinese and Mexican foods too. If I'm working in that area I always stop in.“

Our usual spot was great for a while and then their food changed dramatically (for the worse).We then tried this place out and was amazed at how tender the chicken is. How flavorful their sauces are. It is kind of the whole package.At this point, we’ve had their food many times and it tastes perfect every time. The chicken is super tender everytime.There is no other spot for us anymore.“

“This restaurant is my favorite because of it’s sushi choices. I loove my sushi so much! ? ? Also, next time I come here, will be this Friday (Hopefully) for takeout. My family gets food from here every Friday and the sushi is awesome. I don’t know why this restaurant sometimes gets a bad rap, I think it is amazing food is tasty. Some of these people with bad reviews claim to know Asian food but they really don’t. And that food photo didn’t even look like it came from the restaurant. I hope the guy is just trolling. “been going here for years, definitely one of the best chinese food places in the area. great food, great prices, great service. food is always ready really quick and when i pick it up i’m in and out in less then five minutes. whenever i get this food i can barely wait to drive home and eat it. so good!“

“came here to get some lunch, I ordered the lunch special shrimp w. broccoli with pork fried rice and it comes with soup or soda, I choose wonton soup. can't say there very friendly here, but my food was made quickly and I was thanked for my order. so for the meal, I found the shrimp a bit smaller then the standard size other take outs give, also I noticed the shrimp tasted like it was cooked by itself rather then sautéed in the sauce, which is different but was not a deal breaker. the broccoli I found to be the same in terms of how it was cooked, and it was neatly cut sizes. loved the fried rice, unlike most places that get lazy with fried rice these guys, make that nice bright yellow drier grain fried rice, that taste fresh and not a brown clumpy mess. plenty of pork bits in the rice and flavorful. wonton soup, the broth was good, wish the green onions were finished being cut up, since I got a string of one semi cut. wontons themselves, were generous in portion for a lunch special add on, but I found the wonton, lacking, since usually they are folded neatly and these were similar to a shopping bag with one orange at the bottom. so about half and half with the food I got. but overall, speed I got food and fried rice made well worth the trip.“

“I Absolutely love this Place when mom and I visit New York a Place I grew up it’s just a Blast from a Past and that has a lot to do with the Comfort Food of Great Wall, I love they’re Chicken and Broccoli definitely recommend putting egg drop soup on the rice it along with the Entree it’s so delicious and there Ribs are the best in Newburgh.“

“The service here is very on point, when I placed the order by phone they carefully repeated the order to ensure it was right and even in person as well when I placed it up. Also when I ordered the tea there, she asked how I wanted it and to shake it up to blend for a better flavor. Now the fried crab sticks were great, very meaty without shrinking due to frying and the outer batter was very crispy. House special fried rice I was pleasantly surprised that pork and chicken were in large slices portions rather tiny diced like other places, definitely worth it and felt like rice was more loaded. Rice itself was good, nothing fancy. Now the tea, very surprisingly that a take out has it, but let me say, it was amazing, got the Tokyo tea and it was a mix of strawberry and yakult which is like a yogurt drink. Plus love the Light up ice cube they put in tea to add to galaxy theme tea it's from.“

“Panda is probably one of the best Chinese restaurants in town. Consistently, you can expect quality food at an almost affordable price. The gentleman at the counter is usually welcoming for the most part. Sometimes, it seems like he may not be in the best of moods. That can happen when dealing with the general public day in and day out. It is a great place to stop in for some Chinese food, for sure.“

My only small critique is that the wait to pick up my food took a little bit longer than was quoted to me. Instead of 20 minutes the food was ready in about 35 minutes so be prepared for that.“

I got a pint of house lo mein, wonton soup, and na shrimp egg roll for $13! Can't beat that! Staff nice and U can eat inside! Parking is limited but still good n easy. It is wheel chair accessible. There is no restroom though for public. It's the best Chinese in Newburgh! Plz though bring back pints of hot n sour! They only sell now quarts ugh..many choices on the menu if U want no salt or vegetarian too! They have lunch specials for cheaper also.Vegetarian options: There are many choices like egg foo Young n you can get steamed vegetables.Dietary restrictions: U can get low sodium plates/dishes or no salt n there are more then just 2 or 3. They will work w you!Parking: U can park right in front of the restaurant, there is always room or across the street in a huge parking lot all for free or park on the side street but I wouldn't in Newburgh!Kid-friendliness: U can dine in but has no child boosters or high chairs. Just adult chairs w metal tables.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get out in parking lot. No lip straight into the restaurant. The door though is not push button but U can wheel in. Also the window is a bit high up but the second opening is wheelchair level so don't worry! Can wheel right up to a table inside.“

“The vegetarian options are really good; the boneless ribs are decent; but I didn’t care for the shrimp & broccoli. Best part: it’s the closest to the Holiday Inn so it’ll do. Prices are very reasonable and service is efficient. I would go back if I’m in the area again.“
