My first time here. A couple of friends who’ve visited establishment numerous had treated us to dinner here. Nice looking place! I am loving and digging that chef statue they have near the entrance. Brings back some fond memories of being a chef and cook who had worked in several of food establishments! I had the 12 ounce burger with French fries and American cheese. Burger was cooked to perfection well done. Fries had good flavor. Sampling the onion rings and salad for appetizers while awaiting main course. Waitress Maddie and her assistant I didn’t get the gentleman’s name they both provided excellent service!! Very attentive and thorough with any questions we had about the foods we ordered. Food was excellent I enjoyed everything! Had a blast! I don’t eat out often much anymore but this was a great treat and experience! Rest of company also ordered burgers and was happy with everything! Yeehaw! Hoorah!?

I had burger with sweet fried they all delicious. However, I was not impress with Blood orange Dark and Stormy cocktail that I ordered. I feel like I was drinking OJ with ginger beer (taste not bad)They were not use blood orange juice and spice rum as mention in the cocktail menu. Orange that use as garnish need to be refresh. I was not offered drink menu upon seated.

When a restaurant advertises it is wheelchair accessible that does not mean you will need to back the wheelchair over a 5” threshold with no slopping wedge on either side. This was the direction we were given tonight by the owner. This of course was after we stood outside the fire exit to the lower dining room that three wait staff couldn’t unlock. The manager is called to unlocks the door and we see the high threshold his suggestion of why don’t you just back it up and over.Well sir it is not as easy as you think to do that. Luckily for us my brother who has severe CP was able to stand so we could help lift him up over the threshold. This is extremely difficult to do when your lower extremities are stiff and unable to bend.To be honest if it were just me and my brother I would have left when I saw the threshold but, we were there to celebrate my sister’s birthday and I wanted to try and make the evening enjoyable.Sadly enough it was not the case for me. The food was good and our waiter was attentive but, when the owner walks up to our table in the middle of our dinner to ask how the food was and not have the decency to acknowledge the difficulties we faced just trying to get into his restaurant is mine boggling to say the least.If I can give you a suggestion on how to become wheelchair friendly. Go to Home Depot spend $20 bucks build a small slope on each side of your thresholds to make all your patrons feel welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: See comments above the only thing that is wheelchair accessible is the concrete ramp outside the building.

What a find! Saw the sign while heading to Walkway over the Hudson, and come on, we HAD to try a place called Raccoon Saloon! Every aspect of this place was awesome. Greeted and seated (amazing view from our window looking out over the river), our server was spectacular (and although she said she was relatively new here, she had spectacular knowledge of the menu and even suggested a beer for my specific taste ?). The French Onion soup was one of the best I’ve ever had. We both had their “small” 8oz burgers which were cooked to perfection, and the sweet potato fries - yum! Highly recommend and will be back again when we pass through (or we just might have to make a special trip).

It is December 22, I think everyone and there mother was there. The staff was excellent, they were handling the demand behind the bar and food service. The owner was there and helping and supporting his staff. We had the deep fried calamari, it was pretty good the curry greens that went with them were also pretty good. My boyfriend and I came here for dinner Saturday night. We ordered the chicken francese. We took one bite and could immediately tell the food was bad. Pasta tasted watery, rubbery, and flavorless. The chicken tasted rubbery and like it had been frozen and then boiled. We send it back, and the manager comes over to apologize. The manager tells us that once a month, someone sends back the chicken francese and says that it's rubbery and flavorless. The manager says that he thinks that during covid, his chicken suppliers decided to freeze the chicken they weren't selling instead of throwing them out. That was the end of his explanation- which leaves us to conclude that we ate 3 year old frozen chicken. The manager did take the item off the bill. The next day, I felt so sick and in pain that I had to go to the emergency room, where I found out that I had an infection in my intestines due to eating contaminated food. Similarly, my boyfriend spent the night and the following day throwing up, extremely sick and in pain. My boyfriend and I only had one bite, and we were sick for days.
