Great new restaurant in Marlboro! We dine out often and are always looking for a great local spot. This is it. They make Italian food the way our parents and grandparents did...very authentic with a Southern Italian flare. We had stuffed artichokes as an appetizer--who else makes this...the answer is NO ONE. The roasted red peppers were to die for. Every meal we've had so far has exceeded expectations. Especially liked the linguini with white clam sauce, Stretches chicken, chicken Rosella and my wife's favorite, the eggplant. Great cheesecake and selection of gelato to finish off the meal. The staff are very attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic. If you crave good, authentic Italian food with large portions, this is the place for you.

The Angry Chef is a newly opened local restaurant by us. The food was excellent, but the service was a little slow on our initial visit (will definitely try again, it wasn't terrible or anything). I think the fact that they didn't have their liquor license yet made it feel slower too, will check it out again once they get that.I definitely view it as a dinner spot only, not a good hang out at the bar place.

Excellent! So happy this jewel has come to Marlboro. We are Italian and have been spoiled with the yummiest home cooking and proximity to the best restaurants in the nyc area… needless to say we are tough judges. The Angry Chef would be a neighborhood gem in any location. Family owned, the service is top-notch yet super friendly. The food is excellent. Our table had the calamari, arugula salad, mozzarella salad, spiedini, chicken noodle soup, pork chops and chicken Piccolo - a must have if you love a kick. I have to eat gluten free which they more than accommodated, the penne perfectly cooked. Kids were very happy with the menu. The portions are generous. The atmosphere just perfect. For now, BYOB. A must try. And try again!

Just had the best experience on an impromptu date night with my wife. We ordered the vodka fries to start which were delicious. Entrees we’re the Bolognese and Sunday Sauce. Both were very generous portions and cooked to perfection. So glad we stopped in!

We stumbled upon this GEM after touring Hyde Park…What a treasure! Absolutely uncovered a diamond in the rough! The Shrimp ala Vodka was delectable!!!! Truly divine! Another favorite was the Chicken Roselli - lightly breaded chicken with thin eggplant on top - YUM! The portions were generous and the service was impeccable. This family operated business is a must to support. We WILL come back again on our next visit to New York!Parking: Easy to park - located in a plaza. Don’t be deceived by the external as the facade is a strip mall kind of feel - inside the lighting and decor was perfect for a lovely dinner out. Both upstairs and downstairs seating and glimmer lights near the bar. Lovely!Kid-friendliness: So incredibly good with our children. Just a lovely experience all around!

Ordered some take out of shrimp parmigiana. Food was good. It might a little bit more pricey but quality is worth it. I enjoyed this meal.
