Loved this place. Our waiter, Brian, was exceptional. Witty, charming, knowledgeable & efficient. The food was delicious. I had a business lunch meeting. We were never rushed and we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

Four of us dined. Three had the ribeye, medium rare, and they were delicious. One had the filet mignon cooked medium. It was overcooked, no pink, and tough. Loaded baked potato and asparagus were fine; nothing special. Chocolate torte and warm butter cake desserts were good. The service was fine; waiter was pleasant. Overall though, prices versus the actual quality/taste received were a bit on the high side.

I ate at Ocean Prime the last evening of my trip to NYC. It had good reviews everywhere and I was excited to try it for the first time. I was not disappointed. The food was outstanding, the drinks were delicious and the service was impeccable. I had the Deviled Eggs and Caviar app which was amazing, the ribeye which was cooked to perfection and the server Alexa who was knowledgeable and answered every (probably annoying) question I had. She was the best server I had during my stay. Also, (and I realize it has nothing to do with her service) she is stunning. All of this combined, I highly recommend Ocean Prime. Even if you just want a drink, the bar is modern and the selections are varied. I was very impressed from top to bottom.
I have gone to the Sea Fire Grill as my main spot for seafood. My wife and I agree that Ocean Prime is a much better option for us. The food and ambiance were just right! We will be back Ocean Prime!

We sat in the middle, the tables try to get as many people in as possible. I've dined at Mastro's many times most of the time the service and food are great. Our water was not consistently filled, our plates sat not picked up, our table was not cleaned following. Each course, and the brussel sprouts we ordered were terrible. Our waiter said they were crispy but they were disappointing. Wouldn't dine there again. Mastros Scottsdale is hands down the only location worth dining!
We went for my boyfriend's birthday. We split 4 apps, 2 entrees, 2 sides and a dessert. The food and service were fantastic. They put down birthday confetti, our waters were always full...exceptional. We recommend the salmon, the ocean roll, French onion soup, tuna tartare, and the Ocean Roll.
We celebrated my best friend's birthday and had a wonderful experience! Thi was an impeccable server and made our experience feel so personal and memorable. The confetti on the table was the cherry on top!
First of all. We are big Cameron Mitchell fans have been for decades. Ocean prime used to be our go to place here in the city where there are so many choices. Yes it's always been pricey but worth it. The past few times have been a disappointment. The food just not as good and the service seemingly distracted. I'm from Columbus and I think I need to go back and see if the other CM restaurants are declining as well. Besides I could use some Maytag chips.
My husband and I arrived earlier than our scheduled time, and we were accommodated with no problems at all. The service was excellent by Gordon. The food wa was mouthwatering. We started with the calamari with chili sauce that we had along with the warm pretzel sticks and sour dough bread. We chose separate entrées my husband, Seabass and for myself, the steak with the side of truffle mac & cheese, and roasted brussels sprouts with a balsamic honey glaze. Finally, we ended our meals with the shared layer carrot cake that was beyond belief along with a cappuccino, and a decaf, americana coffee. It was soooo delicious! We will definitely be back again. Next time we're in the city!

We have been to Ocean Prime in Vegas. So our expectations were high for NYC Ocean Prime. And our expectations were exceeded. Now we have a quest we are on. To visit all the big city Ocean Primes. Excellent food. Freshest seafood I have had. Excellent service. It is a little pricey but it's worth it.
