One of my favorite places in queens! Appetizers here are the BEST! Especially the fried ravioli and spinach mozzarella sticks. The staff is always so friendly and attentive, the drinks are so good. The place itself is a little small but very cute. You always have a good time here!

Order food to go I had two orders one for me and my wife. My wife changed her mind and didn't want it anymore and I when I told her can I just pay for my my order the bartender declined and said it was already made. I work at a bar and I told the manager or owner will buyback it or void not that hard. She still declined and ended up telling me how about I don't pay for anything so I respectfully didn't . Skinny white girl bartender didn't catch her name but ya gotta fix that little attitude of hers. Been coming here for 5 years for food because the drinks sucks and never had to deal with this type of attitude until now. This was on Monday 10/2/23 :)

I have lived in Maspeth 10 years I can honestly say the live oak has the best skirt steak and other food that we sampled at our table plus the service was ten out of ten.very surprised for a small Neighbour hood bar highly recommend this place check it out :)
The vibe is great. Bridget was a great server. food is always good here. wings and skirt steak is a must.

Nix local place. Food is good. Drinks are reasonably priced. The only caveat I need to add is that this place is CASH ONLY. I never understood that policy as all monies are forms of payment. But it is what bug is PS- dog friendly as well!!

THIS PLACE IS CASH ONLY. Didn't know this before hand and saw nothing on the website that mentions it. Found out because only 1 menu had a piece of tape on it saying it.The waitress was very nice, friendly and quick to come over, take our order and bring our food. The fries were well down, crispy and hard. The pretzel was chewy and not very warm. But their beer battered chicken was great!!!! I would consider ordering again just for the chicken. Maybe I'll try something different next time.
