Went there first time on Saturday night. The sushi was so fresh and delicious. Everything that we ordered tasted amazing. The food arrived fast and the waitress was really nice. The price was reasonable too. The only thing this place was lacking was the decor. But it definitely made up for it by how good the food was.

Good is good but I took a star off because your portions are too darn small. I order the salmon over black rice and bok choy and it was barely enough to fill a cavity. Really? For $16 you could at least fill a person's stomach. Outrageous.

Best Sushi you can have on Long Island. Better than places in the city as well, and at a better price. Been going for years, James is a caring

I had the rainbow roll and the green dragon roll with black rice. Absolutely delicious ?. My only complaint is it takes a long time for them to make. I understand they do everything fresh and I appreciate that but if it's a way for them to be a tad faster that would be great. 1 hour wait kind of ridiculous and that's why I took 1 star off.I would order again. Best sushi I've had

Only sushi restaurant in the area that is serves authentic tasting sushi. Fish at other local spots taste lackluster in comparison.

The sushi is fresh and ok. The rolls are a bit small. Only place I've seen a mackerel sushi roll. The prices are a bit high and I really feel there are better sushi places locally. I'm not in a rush to go back.

Food was very good. But the sushi was smaller. They only offer 6 pieces per roll. They tried to compensate for it by offering a soup and salad as part of the lunch though.

I absolutely love Sushi Ko. Since my oldest started college at Hofstra University last year we have been here to eat multiple times. Everytime everything is always fresh and delicious. The staff are always kind and very attentive. The roll selection is amazing they have a diverse variety that will please anyone's pallet. We always try to get different rolls with each visit so we can eventually try them all and so far there has not been any rolls that we didn't like. Our favorite however is the tricolor sushi pieces with the black rice, yes I said black rice! It has a slightly nutty flavor to me but oh so delicious and it's healthier for you then white rice. You can get the black rice in your rolls as well but I think it's better suited for Nigiri. It's the only place I've ever know that offers black rice. No matter what you get off the menu here you will not be disappointed it's a great sushi place.

We drive here from Long Beach when we're in the mood for sushi. Not huge fans of our more local options while Sushi Ko is always fresh and reasonably priced

Great staff, fantastic food.Edit: Went back yesterday, never going to be returning. Food wasn't as good as it used to be. But that's not what's keeping me away. We arrived at 815pm, ordered drinks and then we're told by the server (in a snotty fashion) that they closed at 9pm. OK, cool. The website says 930 but whatever. Anyways, we were rushed at every point of the visit. We were literally asked to settle up at exactly 9pm. We weren't camping out, we were just eating dinner. If you're gonna kick everyone out at 9pm maybe don't have 930 pm on your website, social medias and yelp, Google etc. Another couple that was seated after us stormed out after being told by the snotty waitress they would have to order eat and leave by 9pm (this was about 835pm).Don't waste your money on mediocre food and seriously lacking customer engagement.

Dined in this time. They had a special with a nice piece of Wagyu and Toro -- my favorite. The other fish I got didn't taste as fresh as last time... It was OK. We also got some chicken pineapple fried rice (but they forgot the chicken). The truffle salmon was good. Regardless, this is more of a takeout place -- so I don't blame my dining experience for not being as impressive as the takeout.
