I went to La Riviera Maya, and tried high, medium, medium-low, and low level taco restaurants in the area, and I must said, non of them compared to the ones in this place! I was always comparing every taco I’ve tried with the ones from Ruben’s and the closest one was the medium-low level one.I recommend this place 500%

The place is always clean. Emilio is the best cook and is always smiling. The chicken and steak tacos with everything on it is what I order every time. Never disappoints! You have to try the Apple soda, delicious. I normally park at the Little Caesars parking lot because I order my food in advance. It is a cash only spot. There is street parking but the barbershop next door is normally packed. I would recommend this spot any day of the week. I get what I want every time. Best taco spot in town!

I love them so much. Everything they cook is delicious! I usually order either steak or chicken tacos for myself & marinated pork for hubby. We love Ruben’s. Great job !

Some friends recommended this place and we LOVES IT. Super nice guys and the food was cooked right in front of us. Sooo good! Get the steak tacos - you will not be disappointed!

The food is delicious, definitely. However there are so many other Mexican food places within walking distance of here that are just as good with much cheaper prices. Azteca on Main Street has two dollar tacos so why should the tacos here be $3.50? That’s just my opinion

You need to try the tacos here! Seeing it you wouldn't think to go try because it's a low key small spot/market.Tacos are delicious, loaded, and cheap. If you want good quality tacos I would recommend giving Ruben a try.

This is an amazing place and a little taste to where I come from. On the West Coast you can find this quality in a lot of places but on the East Coast as far as I can tell over the last year it is further and fewer between. This is definitely a gem and I will be back.
