I ordered food to go but had to leave after witnessing the most blatant disregard for food sanitation I've ever seen. The chef/owner, cutting raw pork in front of me with no gloves, stopped what he was doing to wipe his hands on an apron, pick up a pencil and pad, and take my order. He then went back to cutting raw meat, then to handling money, then to handling to-go orders (garnishing the food with his fingers and touching the to go boxes inside and out), before going back to cutting more raw meat. This man never once washed his hands, contaminating every surface and plate of food he touched. Gross!

The Tacos were pretty good and the prices were fairly decent. Just a little language barrier but we worked through it. Nice people.

Some friends recommended this place and we LOVES IT. Super nice guys and the food was cooked right in front of us. Sooo good! Get the steak tacos - you will not be disappointed!

You need to try the tacos here! Seeing it you wouldn't think to go try because it's a low key small spot/market.Tacos are delicious, loaded, and cheap. If you want good quality tacos I would recommend giving Ruben a try.

This is an amazing place and a little taste to where I come from. On the West Coast you can find this quality in a lot of places but on the East Coast as far as I can tell over the last year it is further and fewer between. This is definitely a gem and I will be back.

Honestly the first time I went I thought the food was really good and I had no complaints. The second time I paid closer attention while they cooked the food, the grill is right in front of you so you can see everything. I have no plans on ever returning. I witnessed them reaching into the raw meat to put it on the grill then reach into the onions to also put that on the grill. There's a big slab of beef just sitting on the counter open to air that they would occasionally go over to cut some meat off then go right back to cooking and in between touching everything from refrigerator handles, cooking utensil etc! With absolutely no gloves anywhere to be seen. I definitely didn't see anyone wash their hand the whole time I was there. The wait was extremely long and the meat burnt, yes I stayed and ate because I was having a conversation and didn't notice anything until it was to late..

I wish I had taken pictures of the food before my grandsons devoured theirs. This is only my second time visiting this place and I was glad I came back .The food was really good and it was nice to see them preparing it fresh on the grill right in Front of me.The place is small and they only have a long counter to sit at but that was fine and they have a little grocery area in the back.

Loved the tacos and soles. The prices are incredible for the flavor and quality of food that they serve.

This might be the best place to eat in Middletown, NY. It's a hole in the wall type of supermarket that has unique and tasty Mexican products. I loved the tacos here and everything was so cheap. Each taco is made in front of you, loaded with meat, and so inexpensive (~$2 a taco). Definitely worth trying and visiting over and over again.

The best huarache in Orange County the are little pricey but they have a great taste.love it !!I definitely recommend them.I usually buy huarache not taco so I wouldn't be able to say anything about anything else that they have but you definitely have to stop and buy them.
