I have been coming to Lisbon Cafe for awhile now with my MIneola Chamber of Commerce for their monthly dinner meetings. There is plenty of street parking here along with a village lot not far from the restaurant. We meet in their various spacious downstairs room, (with its own bar.). Very comfortable and well lit. The experience at the restaurant was excellent the moment we walked in. We were warmly greeted by the owner and promptly seated. The service was outstanding . From refilling the chips and bread placed on the table without asking to being attentive to filling the water glasses . When additional wine was ordered it was served within two minutes . Every aspect of the dining experience was met and exceeded . This restaurant has a highly recommended. The food was 5 stars .

Had the bacalao fritters as an appetizer. They had small shards of bone in them. We each pulled bones out of our mouths. My friend ordered the cod named after restaurant. Had bones. No where in menu does it tell you that their plate is BONE IN. Made meal unpleasant.I had lamb chops. I must say they were thinnest lamb chops ever anywhere.
