We last visited Fireside shortly after it opened several years ago. It appears to have reacted to the recent advent of very expensive restaurants in the area by upgrading the menu and prices. We ordered the 19-oz steak with “upgraded” Fireside fries (the included side dish is only standard fries) and the Pastrami Steak. The 19-oz was excellent, cooked medium-well as ordered, and the fries were worth the $7 additional cost. The pastrami steak tasted great, tender as well as crispy with a delicious sauce… but each of the 3 slices was nearly 50% fat. I piled up mounds of carefully dissected fat and pointed them out when the waiter asked how we were enjoying our meals. I did not make an issue of it, but she insisted that she would notify the chef. A few minutes later, she returned with a plate containing 1 1/2 additional slices. I appreciated this gesture tremendously.For dessert we had chocolate mousse, which was lovely, and the cinnamon bun, which was possibly the best dessert I’ve ever eaten. And the presentation was delightful, with the vanilla/strawberry sauce artfully cascaded over the bun when served.The cost is daunting, but we would definitely return for a special celebration (or if we are given another gift certificate as on this occasion). But I will order something other than the pastrami steak.
Fabulous variety of kosher upscale appetizers, entrees and desserts! Even the "surprise" birthday cake was large enough for the whole table to enjoy! It was truly a "work of art"! Delicious ! Outstanding taste for everything ordered! So glad I chose this restaurant from all the other kosher establishments! Our server, Marianela, couldn't have been more attentive! What a wonderful dining experience!

Went here last nite with a Close friend of mine, I recently won a giveaway of a certain amount of money to a restaurant of my choice, and decides to venture out to Monsey, where Fireside is Located...and, I gotta say, I really underestimated this place !!! The service was beyond impeccable, the atmosphere/decor was Stellar, and the food was amazing !!!! I had the Chicken Tallow Matzah Ball soup, which was pretty good, the Beer Battered Chicken which may hav been the best thing I ordered on the menu, as me and my friend gobbled it up in seconds, and the Chimichurri steak which was beyond amazing !!! Overall, me & my friend had an excellent time here, and wouldn't mind coming back again, soon !!!!
Bland over cooked food. Steer clear of the fish. The bathrooms don't have sinks/soap and it gets grosser the longer you think about that. Service was excellent and was able to suggest other places.

Fantastic kosher restaurant, went there with friends, and all of us were amazed. The food is very good, The duck sliders were excellent (appetizers). Another of had the nacos and they were very good. I had the butternut squash soup, which was very good, a very large portion topped with nuts (pecans, I think) . My friends had another soup that they said was also great. The main courses were excellent. One person had a spicy chicken kabob that was very good. I had the spatchock chicken very good. My friends had a steak that was big enough for two. We are definitely going back there's a lot more on the menu. We all want to order the pizza next time. Oh and they have a top shelf selection of spirits and imaginative mixed drink cocktails.
