“Had a wonderful experience at al di la! We arrived a little before 12 pm and was empty so we got to enjoy the quiet but it got filled up while we were sitting. The atmosphere is calm. There isn't a very bug menu but the food is really good. We had their famous salad pizza and didn't disappoint! We also ordered a hot coca which was perfect for this cold rainy day and a delicious salmon pizzaoili. The Eggplant rollantini was good as well. Will definitely be coming back here!“

I was in the area last night and the owner (or manager?) was still there (even though it was after closing time) and was willing to make a personal pie for me and the person I was with. He was courteous and pleasant and VERY customer friendly. The pie was delicious and unusual (jalapeño/mushrooms plus extra cheese) and the place was clean. Kudos!“

“They are mamash pizza artisans. I'm a bt who misses traif pizza until now. Yummy's has a vast selection of artisan pizza for an array of tastes. “Rock's Kitchen is phenomenal. Recently found they deliver through Uber. As a physical therapist constantly moving around, I enjoy healthy and filling options. The Greek chicken power bowl is a mid day pick me up, especially with the sauce. Great portions and solid flavor. Juices are fresh. Customer service is great too. Placed an uber order, called the kitchen last min after order was made on a request and it was handled immediately. Highly recommend if you're in the area.“

“Very friendly and attentive staff! This was a great experience. Bread came out with a plate of delicious mozzarella and tomato in olive oil (complimentary). I had shrimp parm that was very tasty. Loved the sauce. I ordered it with the roasted potatoes, and although I thought they were a bit lacking in flavor (need some spice or something), I was so happy that I had a choice of pasta, salad, or potato. My husband had the chicken sorrentino and really liked that too. He ordered it with a salad and that also was good. We ordered two desserts. Cannoli was good, but I've had better. My husband really enjoyed the banana pudding. Then they gave us zeppoles on the house, which we had to take home as we were already stuffed with good food. Highly recommend this place!“

“The other day, I was absolutely thrilled when I decided to order from Doro pizza. Let me tell you, the grandma's style pizza that I ordered was an absolute delight! It was hands down the most amazing grandma's pizza I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. I cannot stress enough how much I would recommend this particular pie. “In my opinion, Perusia has the best thin crust pizza in town, we also loved the mussels, ravioli, bolognese, & tortellini. We were there for our Daughters birthday party today, and she and her friends loved the pizza, spaghetti & meatballs, & the pasta pomodoro and had a great time. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice, they held our birthday cake overnight for us and allowed us to decorate the table an hour before hand while the kids were at the escape room in the next shopping center. “We found this place on a spur of the moment lunch date decision and so glad we did as we really enjoyed ourselves so much. The pizza is fantastic and we also enjoyed a shrimp app with this incredible tomato sauce and got cheese served with some crust to soak up that yummy sauce. The owner Stephanie I think is her name was so welcoming and even let our dog come join us as it was late and not crowded in the front. Our service was perfect too and I will return for sure maybe for dinner to try the other pasta dishes and more pizza.“

“Yo. This place is it. The truth. Tonight we decided was gonna be a pizza night but my wife specifically wanted PIZZA - like not a tavern style bar pie or a Patsy's/Angelo's NY margarita type. Old school pizza, pizza. Bob's delivered. Literally. From Tappan to Upper Saddle River they brought some of the best "plain" slices I've had since moving to NJ - and it showed up quick, hot and totally in tact. We fking loved this pizza. “UPDATE AT THE END;I ordered online ahead of time to have my order ready on time, when I arrived in the store, the worker at the counter was choosing his priorities of personal life over the customers.He left me waiting there while my food was getting soggy more and more by the minute..He was busy catching up with some friends..When I spoke up and asked if my order is ready, the friend backed off to let me through to the counter, but this lovely worker took the opportunity to now call another friend over Video call to show him who just came in to the store.......To the business owner, if you want to have a good name, please make sure to talk to the worker that worked at the counter on March 30th at 11:45 - 11:55 pm.----UPDATE.A few minutes after posting the review, I got a reply from the owner that he will look into this.The next morning I got a call from him that he looked at the CCTV footage and wants to hear more details from me.I gave him the full story and he said that he will talk to the worker.I got a call from him not too long after the initial call, and he clarified what the story was and that the company is taking full responsibility on this.Now, after this I can proudly say, the customers service is 10 out of 5, awesome and amazing to deal with responsible people, a mistake is a mistake.“

“An old school authentic Italian deli run by mom, dad, and their son. The food is outstanding, I had an Italian Combo and my wife had a turkey sub, there was no skimping on the ingredients, WOW! As for the pizza ? we traveled here from Cape Cod in search of the best pizza from Rockland County NY through Bergen County NJ. We eventually landed here at Petrillos and met John and his parents working behind the counter. An old school hard-working family making traditional pizzas. We were blown away by what they had created, a super tasty combination of classic sauce and the perfect amount of cheese on a slightly crispy underbody with a soft but crisp crust. We ordered 13 pizzas that day, 10 plain,1 green pepper & onion, and 2 chicken cutlet and cherry pepper. After trying the Chicken cutlet and cherry pepper I called the next morning and ordered 3 more...wow it was awesome. Upon picking up the pizzas Sunday morning we discovered John making breakfast on the flat-top grill so my wife ordered French toast and bacon, yum! We gave this establishment a 5-star review but on a scale of 1-10 we gave our highest review 9.8 only because there has to be room for something higher, we just haven't found it yet. “I stopped into La Bona Pizza after a drive up in Old Tappan and tried a slice of their cheese pizza. It is excellent!. The sauce has so much flavor and that makes the base of the pizza. They are a little on the pricy side but it is well worth it. The rest of their pizzas on display looked really good but they were $4.00 a slice which was a little high for me but there were some creative topping like Chicken Parm and Baked Ziti.“

“I have passed this place thousands of times, but never ate here. I stopped in tonight and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered pizza, 2 heroes and some cannoli's to go. The pizza was excellent and in my opinion, better than the pizza at other nearby restaurants! The heroes also got great reviews!! Although I'm not a huge fan of cannoli's, they were very good and hit the spot :) I have no idea why it took me so long to try this place out, but I will def. be back! “Where do I begin? We had our daughter's party scheduled from 3:00pm-5:00pm and from the moment we came in, the staff greeted us. We met our hostess Lisa almost immediately as she came right out to introduce herself and walk us over to our table. We got there about half an hour early and everything was already nicely set up. Throughout our time there, Lisa did a spectacular job by being so friendly and attentive. The manager, Denishah was also amazing. She also came over to introduce herself and let us know that if we needed anything to please come see her. She also helped provide support during the party and was just so incredibly friendly, kind and professional. We all had a great time and my daughter wants to come back to this Chuck E. Cheese for her birthday next year and I think that is a great idea. Thank you so much to Lisa, Denishah and all the staff working on 9/9/23. We had a wonderful time!“

“One of the most delicious pizzas I've ever eaten. This restaurant does not accept reservations. They don't have many tables either. It is small but has a warm atmosphere. “We waited a bit to be seated on a Saturday night (walk-in) but enjoyed our visit. The server was friendly, and helpful when asked about the pizza toppings she recommended. We got the eggplant rollatini appetizer which was excellent and then two pizzas. Vodka sauce with pineapples and anchovies (4/5) and her recommendation which was the fra diavolo with garlic, onion and sausage (5/5). “We could not be happier with how our evening turned out at Olar Noso.A pretty place located right off of Tappan road, there’s ample parking and not a long wait time around 20:00 to be comfortably seated. The restaurant is spacious, lively but not noisy, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Liv, our server, was on point with giving explanations and suggestions on the entrees. We absolutely loved the Salad: I think it consisted of: shredded ricotta salata, pear, pomegranate, arugula, walnuts, and farro (wheat berries), yum, a perfect symphony of flavors which has become one of my favorite dishes. The three of us ordered to share, we commenced with the Gnocchetti "Little pillows" of goat cheese and ricotta with hand-crushed organic tomato, caramelized eggplant, basil, ricotta salata, we found it to be a perfect combination of flavors with every bite. Next were the pizzas; Soppressata pizza topped withtomato, mozzarella, Soppressata, chili oil and honey (the added honey complimented the chili oil). Next, I was outvoted to try the pistachio pizza.. I’ve never had this in my life and asked Liv (as a fellow foodie) for guidance… with mixed reviews, it was decidedly my least favorite, however, it would be interesting to try it with pistachio nuts in a 60/40 blend (in a Vitamix) with ricotta as a spreadable topping (similar to the way a Nutella pizza is prepared).The food was amazing, you can tell their heart is in courtship with creativity by their constant pursuit to invent new and well balanced entrees (with lots to choose from).It’s great to see the way the restaurant blends locally sourced and seasonal ingredients into new creations bringing the farm to table experience for their patrons to enjoy. “Toscana Pizza nestled between a bunch of high-quality restaurants surely can stand with the best of them. This establishment is run by the most welcoming, humble business owner (Billy) I have ever met. However, his food does all the talking as its always fresh and tasty. The pizza crust is perfectly crisp every time. The ratio of cheese to sauce is spot on. The toppings are high quality. The flavors complement each other in such that you can taste all the ingredients. The marinara sauce used for the other dishes has a nice balance and does not overwhelm the dish it is served with. The Sicilian slice is probably one of the best I have ever had. The grilled chicken pesto sandwich, and the grilled chicken broccoli rabe cooked to order is amazing. Also, one of my favorites is the eggplant as I can eat that every day, not too thick, not too thin. The bread is always crispy and fresh. After your meal, there is always a Thank You coming from the staff as you walk out with a smile on your face.“
