Came to Sander's to get some kosher baked goods for my coworkers. I really wanted to get some donuts, but it was too early in the morning, and they were still baking them. Ended up getting some rugelach that were fresh from the oven. The rugelach were a hit in the office. The staff really liked them. My coworker who was kosher really liked them too. A bunch of people just kept eating them throughout the day. The rugelach were delicious. The chocolate was good. The pastry wasn't too sweet. The vanilla ones were great too, but I really liked the chocolate ones the best. They have a dress code that they post in front of the store before you go in. Make sure you wear closed toe shoes, cover your knees, and shoulders. It shouldn't be a problem in the winter though. If you want some good baked goods, Sander's is a great option. If you're like me and wanting to pick up some kosher pastries, I would check which certification your friend/coworker accept as there are many they may or may not eat.

On a late night trip , I was craving a treat. It was after 10, and I knew my options were limited. Lucky for us, Sanders was open to 11 on a Thursday. Walking is the smell of fresh pastry, breads, and sweets assaulted my senses in the most wonderful of ways. There is no limit on the number of goodies. Everywhere I looked, there was something tantalizing. I was shocked to see a large sugar-free section. I have dietary restrictions and was presently surprised by the number of options. I walked away with 2 types of cookies, sweet bread, and a large hunk of cake. The prices were excellent, and the gentleman I interacted with was so nice and very helpful. Next time I am in the area, I will be stopping in again.

We were unable to secure a whole babka, so we settled for a tray of assorted desserts including some pieces of babka. Would have preferred to give the full babka a shot. Early bird gets the worm. Will need to return earlier in the future for a while babka. The desserts we scored in the tray were good.

This is what I'm talking' about!!!!!!! Best bakery I tried in S Wburg. Everything is simply delicious and well crafted. And this coincidentally happened to be the only bakery in which I spied Jewish customers for early morning purchase. Small, but mighty!!!!
