“The best!!! Staff is incredibly nice and they beat every Italian place with prices in a big way. The food is delicious. We get family meals and the chicken Marsala was jammed with tender chicken breast. The penne vodka one is great too. They are all good and my family of four gets 3 meals. The salad that comes with is huge.Best pizza place around!!! Chef's kiss!“

“Very nice cozy decor. Fish special was very tasty but very small portion. Crab cakes were just ok but I am really picky. The short ribs were the fave of the table. Server was very attentive. Owner visited tables and was really friendly which today is rare professionalism. Cappuccinos were great. BYOB which we love. We will be back.“

“Excellent place that has been around for a while. They know good food, and have a great atmosphere. Personally, I think they have the best pizza in town. “OMG! This place is amazing. I heard about it from a few people but I live in Spring Valley and never thought about going when the “what’s for dinner” question was asked. Happened to be driving by and stopped for lunch. Now I’m kicking myself for not going sooner. I’m locking my fingers and looking for more. We had the Disco balls and the Mexican jumping balls. “Very friendly and attentive staff! This was a great experience. Bread came out with a plate of delicious mozzarella and tomato in olive oil (complimentary). I had shrimp parm that was very tasty. Loved the sauce. I ordered it with the roasted potatoes, and although I thought they were a bit lacking in flavor (need some spice or something), I was so happy that I had a choice of pasta, salad, or potato. My husband had the chicken sorrentino and really liked that too. He ordered it with a salad and that also was good. We ordered two desserts. Cannoli was good, but I've had better. My husband really enjoyed the banana pudding. Then they gave us zeppoles on the house, which we had to take home as we were already stuffed with good food. Highly recommend this place!“

“This review is so overdue! This restaurant has become my go-to place for the best food in the area. I have tried so many restaurants but none keeps on calling my taste buds like La Cambusa! I come with my hubby and daughter and most recently with some of my betsies..I love their menu is small but super delicious. Their appetizers are amazing ? the little bruschetta at the beginning is so yummy and you kind of build it yourself. The flavors are super clean and sauces are light and full of flavors. Sometimes food is drenched in so much sauce that it loses its unique flavor but not here. Every dish is a perfect harmonious bite. It is BYOB which is a plus. Keep up with the nice clean flavors! “In my opinion, Perusia has the best thin crust pizza in town, we also loved the mussels, ravioli, bolognese, & tortellini. We were there for our Daughters birthday party today, and she and her friends loved the pizza, spaghetti & meatballs, & the pasta pomodoro and had a great time. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice, they held our birthday cake overnight for us and allowed us to decorate the table an hour before hand while the kids were at the escape room in the next shopping center. The restaurant is comfortable and clean. Thank you so much.“

“I come here every once in a while. It's quite nice, the food is really good and reasonably priced. They also have a nice selection of gluten-free menu options. I'm not gluten-free, but recently, it's been something I look out for and notice because I love someone who is Celiac. “I stopped into La Bona Pizza after a drive up in Old Tappan and tried a slice of their cheese pizza. It is excellent!. The sauce has so much flavor and that makes the base of the pizza. They are a little on the pricy side but it is well worth it. The rest of their pizzas on display looked really good but they were $4.00 a slice which was a little high for me but there were some creative topping like Chicken Parm and Baked Ziti.“

“Had a wonderful experience at al di la! We arrived a little before 12 pm and was empty so we got to enjoy the quiet but it got filled up while we were sitting. The atmosphere is calm. There isn't a very bug menu but the food is really good. We had their famous salad pizza and didn't disappoint! We also ordered a hot coca which was perfect for this cold rainy day and a delicious salmon pizzaoili. The Eggplant rollantini was good as well. Will definitely be coming back here!“

I went into my Facebook page and saw this fabulous photo of trays of chicken caprese. Wow. It looked amazing. Having never tried it and Doms being on my way home, I figured I'd give it a try. I was greeted by Michael who was super nice and even asked me how my day was! So sweet. I brought my tray home happy to warm it up and serve up to my family. They loved it! I loved it too. It warmed up nicely and hubby and I were able to have some for lunch the next day! A home cooked meal on a busy week night for $40? I'm sold. 4 meals at McDonald's is about $40 these days or more! The frozen dinners tasted fresh after heating, olives and mozzarella were amazing, olive oil was full flavored, and the homemade pasta is outrageous! Love this place! I have no idea how they make their dough or their pizza sauce, but recently we got their make-your-own pizza kit to do with our child, and even that was firmly the best homemade pizza I've had in my life. Unpopular opinion but It’s not my favorite thin crust pizza I’ve had in Jersey but still very good and comparable to Nellie’s. I’d go back.“
