Yesterday I visited Scalas and got the chicken alfredo pasta and garlic knots. The portions were perfect and both were delicious. The staff is also extremely helpful, kind and friendly. I felt right at home as Eduardo gave me great recommendations and Anna made the alfredo pasta with such great flavor and love. They all had great service and I walked away very satisfied. I would recommend Scalas and will be stopping by again ?

Pizza is decent but BE AWARE! They will LITERALLY over charge you if you are a minority i went in there and the Black man with glasses charged me $6 for a simple chicken slice. I was also overcharged for soup and when i asked he acted confused. Then proceeded to give me change, explained there were taxes and STILL owed me $1. One thing i dont appreciate is trying to take your OWN people for a fool. If you cant count or give someone the correct change back you should NOT be working anywhere!!!!!

Pricing is set based on the familiarity of the customer. Customer service is nonexistent, the place feels grimy, and unkempt. It’s a hangout spot for neighborhood locals. At any given time there is a “customer” leaning over the counter talking and spitting into the air. No one wears gloves, everyone just looks dirty and tired. People constantly sitting there and looking up at the T.V. like zombies.I went there twice and it’s a decent slice of pizza but having to get past overcharging me, and all of the grime…it’s not worth it.

I’m a lover of Penne Vodka! Definitely the Worst I’ve had. I was turned off when I went to pick up my order and I was asked if I’m going home or work? In order for the woman to determine whether or not I needed silverware. She handed me my food in a paper bag. Because only selective restaurants are allowed plastic bags. The worst part of it is that the pasta tasted horrible and went straight into the trash.

Was ok. However, I think the ricotta cheese on the white slice may have gone bad (couldn't finish it)? Don't know but probably not likely to return here.
Lived off N Terrace 20 years ago. Scala's was the spot and still is. Drove all the way from S.C.

If I could give negative stars, I definitely would. I called at 5:35 placed my order and they gave me the price and I said OK but an hour goes by a little bit over an hour. I got a call saying delivery. OK I said I’m the GATEHOUSE no mind you I am five minutes from them. I can’t go there because I am working. I’m a security guard, the owner of the wrong house that the person went to calls me and says this person is here they’re trying to deliver this food and they went to the wrong area. I say I give them the right address and they say OK they’re on their way to you know another hour goes by and I get nothing no call no food nothing. I called the store and they say you know what the issue was the driver got lost and they went to the wrong address and then they just came back. So I’ve been waiting two hours for some food new customer, and I will never be returning absolute waste of time absolute terrible handling of customers, I should’ve received a call. They should have tried to find me. I’m literally up the street. I’m five minutes up the street this is absolutely ridiculous and I really hope nobody else has to go through this experience.
