Fish soup is usually made with Snapper (not cut up salmon). While I’m not against salmon, you should have mentioned “salmon” as the choice of fish used.There’s no mention of this on your menu.

I've ordered from this location quite a few times, as well as the main location in the Bronx. Sorry to say, but the quality of the food at this spot does not live up to the original.... Not saying that the food is consistently bad, it's just not as good. But today I ordered two sides of bammy and they were inedible. They tasted sour, as if they were soaked in water instead of milk before they were fried, or the bammy was expired. They also were not seasoned with salt in whatever liquid they soaked the bammy in beforehand... I've never tasted bammy like this in the 30+ years I've been alive. I hope they make some changes to the way they prepare the food here.

Fish N' Ting on the Go is an excellent caribbean restaurant. All meals are tasty and serving portions are good for the price.
The employees are always pleasant and the food is always tasty.Parking: There's a free parking lot to the rear of the restaurant and paid street parking is also available.

$23 for 8 pieces of shrimp swimming in watery garlic sauce in one container and a handful of rice and a half of handful of rice in another container. So they don’t have good business sense cause neither portion was enough to fill either container, lesson learned for me I won’t be going back. Mt Vernon has other restaurants that I would gladly pay the overpriced fee to because the portions are big. I’m still hungry never again. Called ahead of time female on the phone wasn’t helpful nor polite. Now they have another location that is reputable however this one isn’t, it’s the arrogance for me and the outright robbery or skimming of the food. I brought this same dish back when they opened I had 12 shrimp and the garlic sauce was creamy. So the quality of food has declined making another reason for it not to be worth $23 Now I don’t wanna bash a black owned establishment so I hope the owners and read this review and do better because I know they can. Usually you get a nice size portion when it comes to the sides in places similar to this and I know cause I eat at lots of other Jamaican restaurants. A little kindness would have helped ease the frustration of me being robbed
Food is fresh and well portioned. The staff is friendly and personable. Abby is amazingly patient and efficient. The gentleman as well is also very kind and patient. Definitely will be my go to!

Great place been here repeatedly with a nearby construction job for lunch, it's prices are unbeatable and food is extremely well done. Great restaurant!!Parking: Tons of parking along the street down the side of the building for free
don’t deserve NO STARS DONT EAT HERE !!! they don’t wash there hands i got sick from the food and didn’t even finish my rasta pasta i also ordered spicy and it was nothing but watery 3 day old reheated pasta

Ordered from here via Uber eats and found the food to be pretty good. The portion of jerk chicken was very big for $15. Enough for two people. Loved the chicken. It was excellent. Nice portion sizes and I will definitely go back.
