Best "dirty water" dogs in the tri-state area! Simple & classic all beef Sabrett's franks done right.. Tommy has been serving me for 25 years and knows my order before I even make it to the front of the line. My wife has been coming here since she was a child, my in-laws used to take us here, and now we take OUR kids here! He's always friendly, welcoming, and loves to tell a joke or two and chat for a bit. I love the regular dogs with the hot onions, Sabrett's mustard and sauerkraut, but the star of the show is the hot sausage, hot onions, mustard, and wait for it - Easy Cheese. YES I SAID EASY CHEESE, LoL! Trust me, it's absolutely delicious! Wash it down with a black cherry soda and it's pure heaven on a bun. Believe it.

The chilli cheese dogs are the best you will ever have and their hot onions have just the right amount of heat. Whatever you enjoy on your hot dog or sausage, you will be satisfied. I just love Lou's hot dogs and have been coming here for over 30 years !

My buddy wanted to go to target in mount Vernon to pick up some pampers and cleaning supplies but we made a quick stop first nearby at Lou's hot dog truck . I love a good dog especially when its smothered with chili or melted cheese but even a plain hot dog with mustard makes me happy. The truck is not always in the same area as I been told but its here now so a chili dog and dog with grilled onions with a diet coke and I will either skip dinner or have a light bite to balance the amount of calories I just consumed. Final verdict is that these are tasty dogs and my guilt and shame of eating two has faded away .
