“I need to start by saying, I can not possibly express how thrilled and pleased we were with our decision to have our reception at S&S Brewery. We didn't pay anything for decorations, because the ambiance was everything we wanted. The quiet, peaceful, naturally beautiful atmosphere does all of the work FOR FREE. Very spacious, tons of seating, all rustic feel. Don't be shy to show up for an in-person view; you will not be disappointed! The price of the venue is very reasonable and affordable. The venue does not have a kitchen, but food trucks are no strangers to the brewery. And quite possibly my favorite part: the staff. It is VERY clear this is a family run establishment, blood related or not, everyone is family. My husband and I even made a comment that WE felt like their family! Everything turned out better than expected, and we know that is majorly due to S&S Brewery. If you're reading this review, we would absolutely recommend S&S Farm Brewery for your venue needs. FIFTY STARS!”

“Today we tried Zia's burgers! This was a great burger! Done perfectly. We had a large order with people over so we had it delivered. The delivery person was on time, very helpful and nice. We had their Salad which was large, delicious and filling. The Chicken Parm sub was so large we have more for tomorrow. Looks like Pizza is not the only thing they do well! Feel free order from their extensive menu, it's all great! See the photo- I love the "Z" on the roll!”

“Chez Mike doesn't disappoint. Often when my husband picks me up at the train station we have dinner there. The cocktails, food and service were as good or better than my meals in NYC and a great value for fine dining in the Capital District. Our server, Cameron, was friendly and attentive even when the place really filled up. Two delicious cocktails, a glass of wine, two appetizers, an entree and dessert were under $120. I actually like the strip mall vibe on the outside hiding the awesomeness inside. Chez Mike is a real find.”

“Super stylish and elegant SoHo-worthy dining room in tiny Kinderhook, NY. Sort of Asian fusion cooking, very fresh vegetables and imaginative small plates to share. Cauliflower was a favorite, Jasmine rice too. Can get noisy as the night wears on!”

“Lucky ? to have stopped at The Bunker during our stay in Greenbush. We sat at the bar and our server Lauren was so attentive, friendly and made a delicious dirty martini. The food was excellent! We ordered the salmon tacos and Philly cheesesteak, both scrumptious! Actually, I order fish tacos quite often and these were the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely stop in again when traveling through the are.”

“We just ordered for the first time today… our order accidentally got messed up and the owner realized it and called us after it was delivered and they delivered the entire correct order without us even having to ask… he insisted they make it right! I got the lunch special, which comes with a small salad and soup - both were surprisingly delicious!For appetizers, my party and I ordered the fried tofu and tea leaf salad. The tofu was home made, and it showed! So flavorful and soft :DThe tea leaf salad was amazing! So delightfully crunchy with the peanuts and sesame seeds and cabbage, so very flavorful with the tea leaves and garlic oil. I loved it and want to try all of their salads!For a main, I shared the tofu curry and egg plant curry, and both were amazing! The tomato curry sauce was so delicious.I also got the Burmese tea - it had milk and a splendid spice profile that was just so comforting!!Lastly, we had the tapioca pearl and coconut milk dessert, also lovely!I wish I was more eloquent with describing flavors, but trust me, you need to try this place!! Every dish we received and tried, we were blown away by the depth of flavor!!This place is unassuming looking on the outside, but don't let its subtlety and quiet appearance deceive you. This place is bursting with flavor and authenticity. It's a family run business. I want to go back here as soon as possible to try more of their menu!Vegetarian options: The homemade tofu is amazing! “I love this cafe’s lighting and drinks. I enjoy the food but a personal take, I wish they would make the whole menu gluten free since it looks like they would only have to switch to an alternative bread and granola to do so. Their mocha donuts are delicious.”

“I would give 100 stars if I could! I go here at least once a week sometimes more. Such a large variety and excellent quality ingredients! One of my favorites is the turkey cranberry Panini. Where else can you get turkey cooked right there in their own oven. I do not like deli meat, which is one of the reasons why I come here! Everything is so fresh and cooked right there. My husband and I get their salads once a week and this says a lot because my husband is not a salad person. He likes the Italian mix salad because it’s everything he would get on a sub without the bread. I would list everything I like here but this review would be pages long. I read some of these other reviews and wonder what planet these individuals are from because anyone giving a negative review is either at a different place or has nothing else better to do than write fake complaints. During Covid this was the only place I would eat because it was that clean! The owner truly cares as does the entire staff! Aside of excellent quality food, this is the only establishment I know that gives back to the community in every way possible. Keep doing what you’re doing guys! We love you!”

“I grew up eating homemade banh mi, and was very impressed with this shop, which makes authentic tasty banh mi on fresh bread.They have some innovative options, especially the french-dip style banh mi, and have managed to innovate without losing sight of the traditional flavor of the banh mi.It's a great size for a lunch portion, a little small for dinner.When I accidentally chose the wrong pick-up time in UberEats, they were very kind to help me fix it, rather than tell me to come back later.Support this great local business!”

We decided to come here to get a pastrami sandwich. Let me tell you I felt like I was at Katz Maurice pastrami sandwich was just as good and really tasty. “My family, friends, and I are constantly pleased with Nic's! The restaurant itself is immaculate. No exaggeration, probably the cleanest restaurant I have ever eaten in. I have dined at Nic's probably around 20 times, and I have never had a bad meal. All food is fresh and prepared daily right in the kitchen. We are fortunate to have a place like Nic's here in East Greenbush. The owners are hands-on, and it shows in every aspect of the business. Thanks again for a great meal.”

“Food always consists of plentiful portions served relatively fast. Great for families with kids. Service is pleasant...and there are great views of the Kinderhook creek from the back section. Can be a little noisy at prime meal times when it's crowded- hard on hearing aids...or those with hearing issues. (Off times are much quieter)”
