Great portions for the price, garlic knots in the break basket were delightful. Italian wedding soup was a little too salty for my liking. The penne arrabbiata with breaded chicken and asparagus was nice, not too spicy. My wife ordered the pesto gnocchi, which is a little on the soft side. The chicken and mushroom were good and the pesto creamy. Service was very attentive and refills came quicker than I could drink them.

We had a very friendly waitress. She recommended the rice balls, and they were excellent. There was also a tv in the dining room and they changed it to the NASCAR race for me. The bread was nice and the garden salad was surprisingly tasty. Usually tomatoes are pale white and bland this time of year, but they had some nice ones in the salad. My entree was the Chicken Monachina. The portion size was very generous. Maybe a little more cheese than I would've liked. The chicken was of good quality and had no gristle. I will come again if I am in the area.

Small Italian restaurant, friendly and efficient servers.You walk into the takeout pizza side and to the left is the restaurant seating. The ambiance and decor is functional. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient.FOOD- Bread: enjoyed the garlic knots and almost asked for more, we didn’t try the other bread (not pictured)- Carbonara was delicious, right balance of flavors and they give you generous portions- Grilled chicken with veggies, we added grilled shrimp, the grilling brought out the flavor of the food, would order both of these again.

This past weekend we had a wonderful private party in their dining room. They set up our tables for 30 people sat comfortably and the food just kept coming out. Portions were enormous and thank God because everyone got plenty. We were never rushed and the service was fantastic. We can’t stop talking about the red sauce. Man I wish my refrigerator was hooked up to a pot of their red sauce instead of water. If I had one wish that’s what I would spend it on without question. Thank you Jesus and Fernando. My god daughter Isabella got the baptism feast of a queen. Well her guests did bc she still can’t eat big people food. We also were celebrating my kid sister getting engaged. All good things in 2024 and I can’t express how grateful we are to this establishment for helping us celebrate these precious milestones. Affordable. Family centered. Friendly place where staff members make you feel special. Over the moon service. Job well done. Thank you!!!

It's a shame that the baked stuffed rigatoni has been removed from the menu but still shows on the website. What an absolute shame and disappointment, that was my favorite dish. Otherwise the pasta dishes are usually wonderful.

Il Trio has some of the best pizza in Nesconset. Do yourself a favor and stop by when you're in the area. Service is 5/5 and the price is right for what you get. Delivery was fast and hot when I got my order. An immaculate establishment and I *will* be back to order again!!

Went yesterday for the first time - definitely won't be the last. Delicious food & great, friendly service. Portions were large & prices were very reasonable. Been having a hard time finding good Italian food near my house - this was worth the extra drive.

Went here on a whim tonight and was pleasantly impressed. Service was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious. Saving them for future nights out. Waitress was very nice and attentive. This is a plus since we're vegetarian.

My wife just picked up food today and I figured Ehh let’s try a new place today. I have to say I am impressed shout out to the chefs and the owners they really care about their food. Food quality has gone down lately for a lot of restaurants but not this place! Delicious food. I can’t imagine what it’s like for dinner service. Will definitely be stopping by soon.

I moved to Nesconset 2 year's ago and I'm trying to forgive myself for not trying this place then! I guess you have to kiss alot of frog's before you find your prince of pizza! We have had their reg.pizza, pepperoni and the most delicious broccoli and cheddar pie ever, all top notch! Hero's and entries are generous and yummy!! I won't go anywhere else locally.
