“This is a hidden gem in the area ✨ my husband ordered the Birria Tacos and I had the Birria nachos, we both loved each of our dishes. Excellent service, clean place, you can tell they know what they are doing. It was delicious. We can’t wait to come back. Recommended.“

“I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! For two weekends in a row I’ve chosen this restaurant to celebrate birthdays for family and friends. The food is phenomenal and our bartender Gio was fantastic. He was attentive, kind, and had drinks for us before we even asked for them. Highly, highly recommend!“

“My fiancee and I have been going to Northern Coast since shortly after it opened, and it never disappoints. This place is the definition of a "hidden gem", being in the lobby at the Hilton Garden Inn on the Stony Brook campus (you don't need to be a student to go, but students get a discount IIRC). Although it's right adjacent to the lobby with little separation, it's much more than your standard hotel eatery with lots of great New American dishes and a warm, comfortable, unique atmosphere.I've tried several dinner items, and all have been great so far, with reasonable prices, sizeable portions, good variety of styles, all fresh-tasting and "made to order". But, if there's one thing I always go back to, it's the roasted chicken. The skin is so crispy and it has a buttery au-jus that's just divine. It comes with some sauteed string beans that are sweet and flavorful as well. I'd also like to mention the pork chops, brussels sprouts, and the peach melba dessert as well. The service never disappoints, and at least when we went, the vibe of the place is calm and quiet (even with being next to the hotel's front desk). I dig the melodic chill/deep house from the hotel lobby, and I also love the style of the place, it's got a clean, colorful look that feels very "90s tropical". Screens are around that rotate through pictures of the food items. We usually eat there pretty late (it's refreshing finding a place that will stay open till 10PM), so I could imagine this place gets a lot busier and noisier at other times (like around college orientation/graduation, or brunch).I love this place and think it's a great addition to the area. Definitely give it a chance if you're in town!“

The crab cakes were also delicious. It was our first time stopping here and definitely won’t be the last. What really stood out was the service. The young man who took our order was both helpful and very polite as was a young woman who was working tonight also.Better service than some very high end restaurants.DJ’s is definitely doing everything right! What a pleasureThank you!“

“Last night was the 3rd time I’ve dined at Dirty taco in smithtown! Anytime I come there the food is great, the staff is super friendly and we always have a good time! The wait was about 45 minutes but the girl in the front was really hustling to get everyone seated and so was the gentleman working with her!! I normally don’t write reviews but felt it shouldn’t have gone unnoticed!!! And was impressed! We will be back again!!“

“This place was great! Had a party to attend there, the food came out family style, appetizers were crispy and fresh, Caesar Salad, Fried Calamari, Mozzarella sticks, baked clams, fried Zucchini. Then lunch choices, Shrimp Scampi, Eggplant Rollatini & Chicken Piccata. Everything brought out was so delicious and well done, the pasta was not overcooked, the sauce was savory. I would recommend this place to anyone who was looking for a delicious meal at reasonable price!“

“If you were looking for a random new spot, this is it. My chicken gyro was great, and the man does skip out on ingredients for the low cost and better than other spots that charge more. The steak taco was perfectly seasoned and cooked (not over or under). I've been to more expensive places with worse quality for the price. You can't beat it. Great guy, multilingual! Definitely order out from here for at-home“

“Nice vibe, live music, and delicious drinks. The drinks are just a bit pricey.Wheelchair accessibility: My husband is in a wheelchair, everything is ground level and paved. Only thing not very accessible is the seating. All the chairs are tall.“

“I have start out by saying I was upset when the old Mexican food place closed in the mall. But now that Los Amigos is here in the food court...I am fulfilled once again with something so much better! I had the steak tacos and wow these rival some of the best taco places I have been to. Do they cost a little more...yes. Are they worth $10 for 2 tacos...yes...yes! Just look at what you get fresh steak, taste Guacamole, fresh real cheese, crisp lettuce, topped with sour cream. All in a nice corn tortilla that stays together down to the last bite! Go get some of this fantastic food! And wash it down with an old fashioned Coke.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten sensitive and had no reaction to taco ingredients.“
“Came into Los Olivos Deli and indulged in their Tacos de Res, and it was a delightful experience. The homemade tortillas were a pleasant touch - compared to the usual packaged ones, other places use. The meat was impeccably seasoned, and the accompanying spicy sauce and lemon wedge elevated the flavors to a whole new level. There's a lot of place to sit and extensive menu options. Overall, my experience was so enjoyable that I'm already anticipating my next visit. Can't wait to go back for more delicious food at Los Olivos Deli!“

“Great place if you want pupusas, burritos, tacos. Have been here several times over the years and like their consistency as well as the soul food vibe you get from a lot of their dishes. Affordability, taste, and service are strengths of this establishment. Will come back! Also, the place usually has some traffic but is convenient enough that you can expect to have your food promptly. Service is great, people in the front are nice, helpful with their menu, generous with their portions, and wrap everything pretty This time I got a to-go order with their cheese pupusas as well as their mixed meat and rice/bean dish. Cheese pupusa is delicious with a great mix of flavor, heat, and texture to each pocket. Dipped this in the salsa they provided and it was perfect. Also the mixed meat and yellow rice/bean dish was awesome! I got their chicken stew, chicharrones, and carnitas to go with the dish. Very nicely flavored stew that meshes well with their yellow rice, which is also delicious by the way. Overall fresh and soul food comforting meal.“

“It's one of those hole in the wall places you just go for the food. The best tacos we have had since leaving Southern California . It is a small Deli, counter serve style with 3 tables to sit.The food was excellent. The tacos, quesadilla, and Papusas everything was freshly prepared and hot. The meats are succulent and juicy. It's not very cheap, but the quality and taste of the food are well worth it.“

“Since returning to NY last year I found it interesting to have found more taco trucks on Long Island compared to when I came for the first time in 2019. So this is my new favorite place I always come to. No other taco truck compares.During the pandemic it was rare for me to eat Mexican food, especially finding good burritos and tacos, since I come from Los Angeles I am very critical of my burritos. But this place will NOT disappoint you.Alexiño approves ✅️ ? “

“So happy Bubbas was open today for the Sunday street fair on Main Street in Islip. The food is delicious, we got the classic chicken burritos, brotato, shrimp tacos and the queso sause for the chips. It was so busy, but the staff worked hard and kept everything so clean.“

“They're doing "Wing Wednesdays" now. We've been going there for happy hour house margs and wings. Their hottest flavors are Habanero Lime and El Diablo. Our first time ordering these, we were asked about our tolerance for spice, and the waitress explained that enough people order the very spicy wings and then send them back, complaining that they're "too spicy". She was being diligent. 1. If you go out somewhere and order something spicy with "Diablo", "Nuclear" or "Inferno" in the name, it's a clue. It's going to be spicy. Use the ranch dressing or the onion sauce, ice water, what gave you. Cry into your napkin if you must. But have the basic decency not to make your poor decision the kitchen's problem. 2.) There is "macho contest" spicy and "flavorful spicy". The first just pretty much hurts and you can't taste much because the nerves in your mouth are trying to shut down. The second is actually an impressive balancing act and the addition of sweet ingredients like honey and sugar can amplify the perceived effect of spicy peppers. Those things being said, the Habanero Lime wings seemed spicier than the El Diablo wings. Habanero Lime had a forward citrus presence and was very good! El Diablo wings were smokier and while very spicy, had a flavor that we enjoyed more and at no point did it leave us desperate for cold drinks. The wings are winners! And the house margaritas are excellent too! If you don't care for wings, everything else on the menu is great. Whether I choose fajitas, a burrito, tacos or salad, the food tastes like it is freshly prepared and doesn't feel heavy. They might have the best salsa on the whole island. Casual and vibrant ambience, and in seasonable weather, the sliding doors are open and there is plenty of outdoor seating. Go enjoy!“

“I don’t leave reviews often but my wife and I just had some of the best food we’ve had in a while from Cactus Cafe.?We had a sampling of a few items to try the different options out.- Carne Asada Steak Tacos: These were super flavorful, can’t go wrong if you like steak that’s not dry, and super tender.- Smoked Pork Tacos: These had some great flavors with the scallions and arbol salsa.- Smoked Brisket Tacos: These were another hit, flavorful, tender, great flavor, BBQ house quality taste.- BBQ Pulled Pork Burrito: Their BBQ pulled pork is what I really like in pulled pork - meat first, not BBQ sauce with a side of pulled pork. This was one of my favorites. The house smoked wings in the house marinade/seasoning deserve a section of their own. I’m a wing connoisseur and need to point out…these are some of the best wings I’ve had. I would literally come here for just the wings. They’re that good. These fell off the bone, had a really great smoke flavor to them - similar to a cowboy rub, or a smoked turkey leg, amazing flavor profile. 10/10Don’t sleep on this place, this is some great local food with friendly staff and fast service.Wheelchair accessibility: Location is a single level facility with no stairs or ramps. Line is short and plenty of accessible seating.“
