Don't let the simplistic atmosphere of Gourmet Bake Shop fool you. The cakes and cookies taste amazing and the workers are very friendly and accomodating. They are easily one of the best bakeries in the area.
As far as my husband and I are concerned one of the best, if not the best bakery. Been stopping by for years and never had a complaint. We had apple pie, chocolate babkah, various Danish, cookies. I love the chocolate cigars. Staff is always pleasant and helpful, no matter how busy they are. If it is a holiday, go early or reserve ahead of time.

Their product is good but their service is very bad. The sales girl in the early morning can't deal customer. They are very unproffessional. I recomend don't face that 2 sales girl when they are paired.
