I've been to many different sushi buffets, and S. Republic is no different. We had a party of 14 people and ordered a a lot of random items to start off. They gave us rolls and food items that we didn't order and left some other items out. This usually happens at places like this. Overall, food was okay and priced reasonably.

Will not be going back. Poor service. We had to continuously look for the waiter. There was no attention to our table for something as simple as drink refills. Food is ok at best. Not all our food was brought out, by this time we just wanted to leave, they only thing they were quick with was the bill. I cannot nor will I recommend this place. Customer service is lacking. I should've read the reviews for this place prior to going. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK

Best sushi experience for family in Long Island I've had. Their all you can eat experience is unique. They provide large platter of food that is shareable for the table and are quick to get it out. Their menu has something for everybody, as sometimes kids don't like the sushi. Wow, bringing my family of 6 back here again. All right, I've been to this place many times, and they have been superb consistently. The services is excellent. The chefs are friendly at salute you when you walk in the door, the sushi always hits. I can't say a bad thing about this place fresh delicious, crunchy spicy presented beautifully, clean atmosphere. Whatever negative reviews you hear about this place are far-fetched. To finish it off they offered you free drinks and their fried Oreos are bangers.

The sushi made both me and my friend sick. We ordered California rolls, tuna rolls, salmon rolls, and Kani rolls. I'm not sure if they are under new management but the past 2 times I've been here the fish has smelled off and now it's gotten me sick. The service is fast and restaurant is nice inside.

Beware: ROACHES! My family and I have been ordering from Sushi Republic for several years...until last November. My husband went to pick up our order one evening. He was sitting near the front, waiting for the food. He was looking around and to his horror, he saw several ROACHES near the sushi bar. He notified the lady at the front and she just started stomping on them. We can't go back there again. We wish they would just clean up the place!

The tuna did look a but funky though and the fried ice cream had a strange after taste, but it was a good place to hangout and dine. I was also pretty popular with the fish there.
This place was not worth at all. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. The wait time was very long. The sushi or the food always took 30 minutes to be ready every time. We have to get the paper by ourselves multiple times and No one has come to refilled the water. They should hire more staff to help them. It was not a great experience.
