I recently visited New Paltz Bagel Café and was treated to a delightful breakfast experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, setting the tone for what turned out to be a memorable visit.I opted for a classic choice—a plain bagel topped with nova lox, cream cheese, and capers. The bagel itself was a testament to freshness, with a perfectly toasted exterior giving way to a warm, soft interior. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures, with the crispy bagel complementing the creamy cream cheese and tender lox.Speaking of the lox, they were undeniably fresh, adding a burst of flavor to every bite. The generous portion served ensured that I got to enjoy this delectable treat throughout the entire meal. What truly elevated my experience, however, was the friendly and attentive staff. Their welcoming demeanor created a warm and inviting atmosphere, making me feel right at home.Overall, my visit to New Paltz Bagel Café was nothing short of exceptional. If you're in the mood for a delicious bagel made with quality ingredients and served with a side of genuine hospitality, I highly recommend stopping by this charming café.

Years ago when I was a NP student I used to come here all the time because they were super friendly. Stopped again today and nothing has changed plus the food is really good!

Didn't find out until I got to the register to place my order ('cos of the long line) that they only accepted cash and checks, which I don't carry! There were no signs about that at the door! So, okay, I took my business to the pizza place next door.

I don’t understand how a bagel with a slice of cheese is $4.89 when a bagel with egg and cheese is $4.40……..feel robbed to be honest. It sucks that this is the only bagel shop in town .

Bagels are decent, but they only take cash, no credit cards. It's the 21st century, most people don't want to use cash, and most people have credit cards. Join the future! Probably the only business in town that doesn't take credit cards, very annoying,.

Good bagels, they only accept cash though which can be inconvenient at times. Gets busy in the mornings.

I love the New Paltz Bagel Cafe. I am from New Jersey. Every time we come to New Paltz , I have to go there. I always get a raisin bagel with butter and hot chocolate. YUM! YUM! ?Vegetarian options: Bagel is vegetarian
I love the food here but I was eating my sandwich and noticed this little fly on a piece of lettuce as I’m

The only place around here that makes egg sammys like this! Soooooo good. It’s hard to find an authentic New York deli in these parts. I’ve only had breakfast there but so far so delicious! Reasonably priced also.Vegetarian options: They also have vegan cream cheese

I usually love this place, but today I ordered a buttered bialy, and I was dumbstruck. Who butters a bialy like this?? (Note that it was in no way cut in half...)Usually the food is great and properly assembled. NP Bagel Cafe, if you're reading this, I beg you, please cease this sacreligious behavior at once!

Food is always fresh. At times, the line is out the door which you would then have to wait. Only reason for 4 stars on service.

We came in just before 2. They told us we couldn't order bacon. Because the grill was closed. Meanwhile we could see bacon on the grill for a called in order. There were no other customers in the restaurant. I am disappointed but it won't stop me from coming back because I love the bagels.
