Christmas Eve Day DECEMBER 24TH, 2023New Paltz, NY LocationI placed a mobile order nearly an hour (12:10-12:15) before the estimated ready time of 1243 PM. I didn't get my food until 1:10. The workers call everyone else's name, who placed orders AFTER me well beyond my estimated time of the order being ready, but when it came to my order, nobody said my name until I confronted the worker at the cash register-who I still had to wait an additional 10 minutes for. As a pathetic excuse of their way of saying "sorry", I get issued a FOUR DOLLAR gift card like more than half an hour of my time wasn't wasted-which by the way four dollars in Starbucks doesn't get you shxt! They were very unapologetic and completely dismissive that someone was waiting patiently. My food was also cold by the time I received it. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life; I've had other bad experiences in various restaurants around New Paltz, but by far, this place-and in a holiday season too? Can't even begin to compare how bad this place's service was. They choose who gets their orders earlier, completely disrespecting the queue and people that are waiting. Absolutely unbelievable.

Love this Starbucks in downtown Kingston. No drive through, but the in store service is great!

I went to Starbucks with a friend. I usually get coffee at Dunkin Donuts, local stores or make it at home. If you like a regular cup of coffee try the Americano, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

Fast service. Nice staff. But not a drive through location as advertised so that’s why I’m taking one star off. Also they forgot to put whipped cream on hot chocolate.

I absolutely love the staff here, they are so warm and friendly, they make coffees at lightning speed and remember your name if you're a regular. If I could give them ten stars I would.Plus they make the best pup cups ?

They encourage dogs inside this food service establishment. They have a whole bulletin board dedicated to how they let dogs into their cafe…. The same cafe where they are cooking food and making drinks. There was even a dog in there when I came in and not one employee said a word about it. They must know this is against New York State law. And absolutely disgusting, too.

Great place, especially in a highly caffeine- fueled school town. In six years, and this very location; which has single handedly caused my and my family's complete addiction. Whether mobile or in person ordering, they don't miss a beat or an opportunity to fix something if there's a mistake or problem. They're my #2 location after 211 East Middletown (because NP is no longer in my direction to work and Grad school. The 211E can be ?!!!)

Unfortunately, I have to give this Starbucks 1 star because of its location. Drove off 87 South JUST to get Starbucks, the experience was great but because there is no free street parking, the ticket attendant was purposely waiting to ticket you. Literally ran in to get my coffee and she was already writing up the ticket. Absolute BS.

I can't understand why anyone would choose any Starbucks over the much more appealing local coffee shops, such as The Bakery in New Paltz. This particular location used to be comfortable and cozy as well with some couch-like seating, large and small tables, and lots of seating nicely scattered around.I have lots of memories of meeting up with friends here during my college years, and I always enjoyed the vibe. Now, most indoor seating has been removed, and it has a very empty, cold, bland feel to it. The little outdoor patio is nice in the summer though. It's also no longer possible to go to the little island and add the toppings, cream, and/or sugar that you want, as well as grab a napkin or two. None of that stuff is available any longer.I've noticed the same issues at other Starbucks across the country, so it must be corp-mandated. Can't imagine why. The local coffee shops offer all of that and more. And, they always have better-tasting coffee and deserts, and lower prices. But, most of all, they're as cozy and comfortable as Starbucks USED to be. And, you can actually add your own sugar and toppings to your drink. Imagine that!
