Food was good. However, was charged a 4% additional fee for paying with a card. Was not aware of that until I received my check. Not many people carry cash and why an additional fee for paying with a debit card? Is this legal? This has never happened in any establishment I've been to!

So I came here because we were in the area with my wife and we just had the regular. I really don't deviate. I had the regular chicken, maduros, rice and morisanando (I probably spelled that wrong too) and so this time we're up there again and I basically got the same thing but this time it was to take out and when I got the chicken it was ice cold like like he took a chicken off the thing wherever it was when I watch them take the chicken off and it seemed like it was smoking but my chicken was literally ice cold.Some being me I bought it back and got the manager and they apologize and they gave me some hot chicken. Wasn't sick or anything. Haven't got sick or anything twice with my wife and once with my son. But other than the cold chicken the last time the food is really good. Haven't gotten sick. I like this place
Every time I order pernil they send me a whole lot of grease and oil, this is the 3 rd time.

The service lacked, and we had to request for water multiple times. The restaurant was empty, and yet the food took very long to get out. The mixed drinks were ok not good but not bad (missing a balance to make us want to order more). The food was in need of better seasoning. The prices were surprisingly good however. I'd say its an ok place that needs to improve on a few things to be very good. If you're looking for something ok and less expensive then this is an option.

Today was my last time at this restaurant.I usually order to go, today I was heading to the train station to head to work at 8:10am and I need to use the restroom . I opened the door and saw some ladies chatting and didn’t knowledge me at all so I went to use the restroom , I literally use it for 2 minutes and as I walked out the door one of the ladies yelled at me this is for “ customers only” I said pardon me ?? The waitress said again this is not a public restaurant it’s a private restaurant…. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, after being a customer for such a long time, but I was being treated this way, I spend money, and I am a customer, this isn’t a restaurant that you have to pay for a membership so she is obviously wrong, I tried contacting the owners of the place without luck nobody reach out to me, so I decided to post this because they didn’t just lost a customer. They just lost a lot of other people that I know sadly, one person can make you feel so terrible for no reason, I hope they give their employees better training on how to treat customers, pain, customers .

They should be jailed for how BAD the Pasteles are! Its mushy has a weird flavor and they used Chopped chicken, not chicken chunks. Look at how nasty this is!!! If you know Pasteles you Know this is NOT it!
Food is pretty good! Service not so much. We had to request water about 4 times from our waiter. Someone else ended up bringing it to the table. The waiter we had spent most of his time at larger party tables and we (4 of us) had to wait for everything.

Some of the take-out servers have a poor attitude serving non-Spanish speaking people of color. I thought maybe someone was having a bad day my first visit. But the next visit was the same bad attitude. I went once more for take-out out of convenience but that was enough. There’s an ingrained racism towards African Americans in my personal opinion. I’d never go there again.

Lately the food has been so bland. Ordered the skirt steak last night and it was fat, greasy and had no flavor ... actually half of it tasted like Clorox. Members of my party had the grilled chicken with vegetables and they also commented and how bland and dry it was. Stick to the rotisserie chicken or just skip it altogether.
