This was a horrible experience for a 27 people group. We were there for 5 hrs to eat a brunch that was supposed to be a 2 hr show. It was horrible. This is not a party place. Go solo because they can't handle a large group. We have never had an experience like this. Save your money. Don't go there.

I recently held a private event at Escape Latino and that is a mistake I will NEVER make again. Initially, things were fine. I worked with their event planner, we agreed upon a budget, menu, and party size. Promises were made and reassurances were given. It was all "yes, ma'am" and "anything to make you happy." As the date of the event got closer, after all the guests were invited and informed of the event location (so we were essentially locked in), the staff at Escape Latino started making changes to downgrade the previously approved menu. Their staff were unprofessional and spoke negatively about one another to me, saying things like "don't trust her, talk to her instead" and "she doesn't know what she's talking about" and that's about their coworkers! On the night of their event, their waitstaff, while well-meaning, were completely overwhelmed and unequipped to handle a party of the size we had. They looked like deer in headlights. It took forever for the food to come out and they were disorganized. On the day of the event, leading up to the start, the party planner was nowhere to be found and would not answer her phone. Staff told us she was hiding in the kitchen refusing to come out. I finally managed to get a hold of her and she barely wanted to talk. She also left the event before the party ended without notifying me, leaving me to settle the bill with someone else who was not aware of the agreed-upon arrangement. I was overcharged and tried to rectify that with the owner of the establishment. He reassured me that he would look into it and resolve this, but never bothered to get back in touch with me. I had high hopes for this venue and was not unreasonable in my expectations, but I will not be returning.

The food was out of this world. Seriously the best Pernil I've ever eaten, everything else was amazing too. You can taste the fresh saffron in the Arroz con Gandules, and the potato salad which I originally thought would be an odd pairing (it's totally not) was also exceptional.

It was a disaster!! I haven't been to this restaurant in about 4 to 5 years. It used to be really nice. The waitress was very nice and kept apologizing. We waited one hour and 15 minutes and no appetizer was brought out. Our drinks were water down with tons of ice. Finally the owner came out to apologize to say the chef went home sick. He had a party of 10 to 15 people behind us. This is something he should've told us when we arrived. Finally they brought out an appetizer with avocado something quick he made. The entrées never appeared. Right before we left he finally brought out my fried rice with shrimp which was covered and tons of oil. I guess he just decided to throw oil all over the rice. it was swimming and running off the plate. Disgusting. He apologize again because he forgot the other entrée. I told him forget it just toss it all in the garbage and left.

My order came when the rest of my table members were finished. No one apologized and they only gave us a 10% discount. I brought my food order home.It was my brother’s birthday and they told us they couldn’t sing happy birthday for him because they didn’t have birthday’s candles but yet some else birthday at another table was celebrated with candles.

This is the second time I order for pick up and still my food is never ready on time my order was placed at 4:50 showed up at 5:35 and I’m still waiting I’m very disappointed and I will never go back to this place

My 1st time dining here and the bartender Jay and drinks were great. The food was not so good. My son and I ordered the shared platter that had shrimp, chicken, steak and pork chops and all of it was very over cooked and not seasoned enough , the chicken was dry, steak was very well done, the mash potatoes were dry and overall it was not very palatable. We did order the chipotle mayo and that was good if you drizzle it on the food for flavor . Overall a nice atmosphere and service were good. I’ll come back but just for the drinks .

Had a beautiful brunch here with my family. Maria was an absolute amazing host waitress and bartender. Her sangria is soooo good lol. The food was so good. My favorite was the sancocho soup so tasty. The chef even came out and he was very nice as well. We will most definitely be back!!!
