my takeout order was disgusting. the shrimp taco had 3 shrimp and a tortilla looked thrown together and the chorizo tacos had not toppings and the takeout bag was soaked with grease. for over $20 disgusting.

So this place was actually on the verge of getting at least 4 outta 5 stars for service. If it wasn't for Claudia. The host or bar lady. With the glasses was extremely rude to us. The fact that she told us we need to sit somewhere else after we was told it was ok by manager and waitress was shocking to me. Then she actually waited until our food came to table and started sweeping dirt in our direction ?. I couldn't believe how much unnecessary, unsanitary and unprofessional behavior she displayed. It was obvious that she either didn't want to be here or was in a rush to go home. This place deserves the waitress who actually was patient and professional and made me feel comfortable thanks to ( Madeline). Only reason I stayed. She apologized for her. I would suggest that the restaurant look into people that actually appreciate there job. Unlike Claudia, she will make the restaurant look bad in the long run unless there is change made to her attitude..

I meant to write a review about this restaurant for a long time. We have been going to Little Mexican Cafe for years, sometimes several times a week. During early days of COVID, the restaurant ownership had a tragic event and at the same time they lost their liquor license. We decided to try some other (many) Mexican restaurants in Westchester, even in nearby CT and Long Island. Either salsa or guacamole or margarita was not up to par. Fortunately they got their liquor license back. Little Mexican Cafe is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant. I've never had a bad experience and the food is always so good! The Ceviche and the Birria Quesada are my all time favorites!

I have only purchased through Uber Eats from the last year. This month, I decided to go visit the restaurant in person to get a feel of the ambiance. The restaurant is a cute spot with plenty of space. I came in during a slow hour for in-person dining, and I got serviced by two lovely ladies. Each of them were attentive but not standing on top of me most of the service. I got the Westside Burrito with Guac. The Guac came fresh as one of the ladies made it next to my table based on my desires. I loved that! It's one of my favorite parts of Mexican restaurant culture. The food as always, is good and it is filling. Usually, I do not finish it in one serving. They gave me a box to take home and extra water.
I ordered take out. Figured it was worth a shot! Nachos would have been super good had they not took an hour to deliver. By time it reached nachos were soggy AF ! Tacos are 5 for $5 on Tuesday I should’ve known better lol wouldn’t get those again. I would definitely give this place another try thou just would eat in instead of take out.

This restaurant is beyond reasonable with their pricing, they’re quick in the kitchen, attentive and yummy! I love their chicken quesadillas since I was 15, I’m 24 now and drive 20-30 minutes just to eat there every now and then. :)

If I could leave this place zero starts I would the service is absolutely terrible we ordered food after 1 1/2 hours of waiting with our hungry toddler we called they said the food was coming a half an hour after that we called again now being 7:30 at night our kid is starving at this point waiting for dinner so we called again and they said they didn’t find the order my card was charged and all they can offer is a discount? What a joke disorganized and liars I hope they at least have the decency to give us back our money never ever order from here it’s not even worth the stress and wait time way better Mexican restaurants in the area

If I could leave this place zero starts I would the service is absolutely terrible we ordered food after 1 1/2 hours of waiting with our hungry toddler we called they said the food was coming a half an hour after that we called again now being 7:30 at night our kid is starving at this point waiting for dinner so we called again and they said they didn't find the order my card was charged and all they can offer is a discount? What a joke disorganized and liars I hope they at least have the decency to give us back our money never ever order from here it's not even worth the stress and wait time way better Mexican restaurants in the area
