The two stars I'm giving are for the nice waitress, the lamb chops and the Yukon potatoes. We went during restaurant week and I found the food pretty average. I ordered the eggplant Milanese and it was inedible as it was undercooked. What really sent me over the edge was that my husband was charged THIRTY dollars for a Manhattan (28 dollars and a 2 dollar "up" fee) whaaaaat? I just can't. Will never return. Zero stars for that - do not recommend.

Wonderful dinner with friends last night at Maria! We shared apps; salmon tartare, roasted squash with sage, seasoned green beans, fried artichokes- so good! I loved the homemade pasta with eggplant- fresh tomatos in the sauce were excellent! Lovely sparkler candle in our friends dessert for her birthday - the donut with fresh cream and strawberries was delightful!

Did not enjoy my dinner, had hot and cold spots,Apps were better then dinners, dinner and app portions were small, told waiter about my meal and was not compensated, my party of 4 felt it was definitely NOT a Michelin restaurant at least not when we went.. definitely would not go back this was are 2nd chance trying
Wanted to like it but service was nonexistent. One server for whole restaurant. People were seated and just left due to lack of attention. Gnocchi ragu looked and tasted like Dinty Moore beef stew with overcooked potato pasta.

Amazing! This cheerful Italian eatery was a culinary marvel from start to finish. We started with the fried artichokes and the brussel sprouts appetizers. Someone had to pinch me 'cause I thought I was back in Italy. Not only were the appetizers splendid, but the portions were large and could easily be shared. I had the sliced ribeye for my main. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly; was reminiscent of a high end steak house. I topped off the meal with the strawberry italian donut for dessert. It was a unique and enjoyable mouth watering experience. Service was excellent. They don't rush you, so you can really savor this culinary experience. Bon appetit!

Tonight was a disaster.We arrived 5 minutes early with a reservation for 4 and were told it would be a few minutes for our seats at the bar to be ready. We showed them our RESY reservation for the “dining room” and did finally get seated at a lovely table within 15 minutes, just 10 minutes later than our reservation time. That was after one of the waitstaff got involved, since the hostess seemed a bit inexperienced.We got our favorite waitress, who made excellent suggestions. The food was excellent, as always. BUT, the service was HORRIBLE. Our appetizers were served very quickly, well before our drinks. The plates hadn’t even been cleared when our entrees arrived - WAY too fast. I ordered a glass of wine after my cocktail was finished, but it never arrived. Our dinner plates were empty for quite some time before they were finally cleared. We also had to wait a long time for our check. We brought friends and were embarrassed at such terrible service.
