The sandwiches are to die for. Got the Hercules based off a recommendation and it was the best thing I've ever eaten. This was the most friendly and welcoming places I've ever been. The staff is super friendly the owner was super accommodating getting a us a place to sit down and eat. If you're in the area and you're not getting your food here daily you're insane. Run don't walk to this place.

Great food, great people, great service, great prices.If you go to Iona or just live in New Rochelle, one trip to this place and it might be your new go to lunch spot. Great variety of sandwich options (almost 40 on the menu). Meat portion is awesome as I was given probably about 12 oz of pastrami. I forget the exact price, but it was something like $13. Amazing value considering that some places in Manhattan will charge $20-25 for a similar sandwich.Employees are very friendly and make you feel at home. Can't wait to try some of their other options.

We had a catering order from them over the weekend for a party we hosted and everyone absolutely raved about the food! Amazing quality and amazing customer service - will absolutely be ordering from here again and again!!

Execellent staff and food! Mike is a great guy and the whole staff is super nice and helpful! Large variety of drinks and make fresh hot and iced coffee for you however you want with loads of syrups!

Directly across the street from Iona College, The Ave is a college classic! There's a huge list of deli sandwiches, but they'll also make 'em custom. The Megahouse is a former custom order from some Iona students that was such a hit it became a named special: chicken cutlet, mac n cheese and hot sauce. Get it on a hero and come hungry. Or hangry. Or hungover. (Especially hungover.) The egg & cheese on a roll is perfect, unless you like your scrambled eggs cooked dry/hard like my friend. Veggie options are limited but not underwhelming - I got the eggplant cutlet on a multigrain roll and it was excellent.

Last month I visited this Deli and it was outraged. The owner had no concern for Covid restrictions (he wore a mask but it was not covering his face the whole time). Placed with pack of people with No social distance being followed. I feel sorry for the Honor's students that could be exposed to Covid.I ordered the roast beef sandwich. The meet was grey and precut out of container. It was not edible. I threw it out. The size of my sandwich was just small and pricey. I would never go back there.

Food is absolutely incredible however!!!! DO NOT USE UBER EATS TO ORDER FROM HERE! Twice in a week ( because they're so damn tasty I've ordered BEC with 2 eggs, specified in notes and have only received on egg both times. Otherwise i can't say how incredible all the food is! Mike and staff are awesome, something is just not clicking w the Uber eats and Avenue when it comes to ordering-
