This place is such a hit or miss. I guess it depends the day and time you go? Sometimes it’s good and other times it’s not. I won’t be going back because the last time I went my everything bagel was soooo salty it was unedible. My bf got a peanut butter and jelly on a bagel and there was only a little round dot of jelly in the middle.

The best bagel shop hands down! The everything bagels are always amazing and the scallion cream cheese is to die for. We always get bagels in bulk for a special occasion. The only downside is that it's cash only... Annoying to deal with in 2023 but worth the hassle. Sammy's never disappoints!

We stopped by Sammy's based on the reviews. Both my husband and I missed the small sign that said "cash only." When our food arrived we had to scrounge for enough cash to pay for it. We literally found the final dollar, under the seat in the car. The woman who served us did not speak English. I asked for a plain bagel, with cream cheese, onions and salmon (lox). After much back and forth, I thought she understood my request. When I received my order, my bagel contained the cream cheese, sliced onion, but no salmon. I asked her to add the salmon after I discovered the missing (key) ingredient. Again, she had trouble understanding me. When she finally got it, she said I would owe more money (cash), which of course I didn't have. Pretty frustrating, especially since I was in a food low. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

I had a very disappointing experience at Sammy's Bagels in New Rochelle. The prices were exorbitant and the food was not worth it. In addition, the cleanliness of the store was subpar and left a lot to be desired. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality bagel experience.
Ok let me start off... I like the place but could easily tip the other way. Pros: food is good. Con: a few times they gave me mold or roll with our egg sandwich! Not sure how they missed it was blatantly moldy. Pro: food may fresh Con: prices are inflated, I'm pretty sure the lady overcharges me every time. Pro: if it's empty u get ur food fast, con: if it's even slightly busy- just go somewhere else
