The Pure
The Athenian Burger is an overcooked, frozen pattie with terrible flavor balance. The fig spread is too sweet. The feta was not salty enough to balance it. Don’t waste your money. I’m actually appalled at what I received versus what is in the photo on Uber. Never ever again.

Meh. That's my overall opinion of this place. I've eaten at several Mediterranean restaurants and this one doesn't stand out at all. We ordered delivery for the second time last night to give this place another try, but it still left us disappointed. We ordered a chicken gyro and they just sent me a small container with chicken. Yup, that's it. So the service isn't that great. I ordered a falafel wrap and it was just falafel, lettuce, onion and tomato. No sauce or cheese was added to the wrap. The falafel itself had a weird taste to it. The fries are pretty good though. It's actually what we like the best. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back here.

Loved this spot for Lunch !!! We popped in yesterday and the food was very good. We were met with a very friendly waitress who sat us done right away. It's a casual small spot in New Rochelle accommodating a few tables and take out service. We enjoyed the small bites and grilled octopus which were very tasty. For a main they split a chicken souvlaki for us between my husband and I. Portion size was just right. Food was great !!! We usually order from them to go but had an even better experience dining in. A must stop to eat !

I think this is the best gyro I’ve ever had in my whole life. I wish i was joking, because now I’ll be walking in their doors every week. The meat was so tender and juicy and the pita was so soft and light, the veggies fresh and the WINGS!!!! So tasty. The proof is in the pictures. The employees were so sweet and attentive and the atmosphere is so nice. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to something nice ?

The sampler platter was a disappointment. Out of 5 humus like - one was mashed potatoes... are you kidding? And the other one that was pink tasted like pure mayonnaise.... we left without finishing the platter nor any other food we ordered....
Great place to sit down with friends and family to enjoy/experiment the several options on their menu. I would recommend the Zucchini cheese bites to share with your table.

Their food is really worth every the cost. Love the Octopus, Greek salad, and grape leaves dishes. I normally cook my Dominican and Southern meals what I grew up on. This place has become one of my favorites. Their service is quick too! Can't wait to visit them in person. Only had home delivery so far.
