Came out in rain today to get this food! If you looking for someone to speak to you don’t come here everyone seems to have attitude! My food today was not good shrimp was under cook an no flavor ! Rice tasted a day old an the greens was watery with no flavor ! The photo salad was good the Mac& cheese was not done a like water ! See picture waste of time an $

The lady who took my order was a bit off. The doors were open when I entered, it was 10:58a She said they open at 11:00. When I ordered a side she said it wasn’t available yet, because they were just opening. I mean if your running a food business shouldn’t the food be available when opened? Makes one hesitant going back. Food is good. The way the restaurant is run needs improvement.

Food is EXCELLENT for the price. Collard greens are cooked perfectly and not from a can. Fish is fresh and well seasoned. Now there is no drinking area - take out only. They are also cash only, but they have an ATM.Parking: Parking is only on the street and hard to find. You will probably need to double park.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair-height service window on the front of the building. Just ring the bell for service.

The catfish dinner with Mac and cheese was great .The catfish was fried just right and the Mac and cheese was cheesy and good..
Edit: The owner of the business gave my relative a refund for the inconvenience. I will add one star to my previous rating. My family catered food here for a funeral today. The amount was paid in full earlier this week via Zelle. Initially, we were told the delivery person got lost trying to find the church, but after directions were provided, the person went MIA. After multiple calls, the delivery person and the business was no longer picking up my relatives calls. Another relative used her phone, and they refused to answer as well. By this point, we had been waiting over 90 minutes-- after a stressful and emotional day at a funeral! My relative then decided to call from a different number and finally got someone to respond. She said she wanted to cancel because it had been almost two hours with a bunch of people who were hungry. They said the funds would be refunded and after about ten minutes-- the cold food mysteriously arrives. I'll be honest and say that the food was good, but the level of discomfort caused to my family and the many other visitors to my grandmother's funeral was unacceptable. Hopefully some sort of partial refund is issued.
I had a taste for Mac and cheese but IDK what the heck they served. It was noodles in some thick nasty cheese sauce. Couldn't even eat it.
