Friendly neighborhood cafe. They bake their own pastries in house. Jamie spins the best tunes!

I’m so spoiled to great coffee that I take it for granted. But this was the best espresso I’ve had in an age. (And for $2.50? That’s not even a THING in New York.)Also love the warm, cozy old-skool lighting & vibe, sharing long wooden tables with strangers, and the good jazz on the stereo here.

Hands down best coffee in NY. They pioneered small cups only for certain drinks and cannot get espressos to go. No laptops or pets allowed. They do things the way they want and I can’t blame them. It’s not WeWorks or a pet cafe. It’s artisanal coffee and Im lucky they opened. They used to be in a hole in a wall with long lines but this new space is much bigger and better. Highly recommend

The neighborhood secret - best coffee shop on earth.
Absolute perfection. The coffee is somehow strong and refreshing (almost hydrating?) at the same time

Unique, fun, and CHATTY coffee shop. The atmosphere of Abraço is hard to recreate; it’s bustling, diverse, and loud, sometimes a little too noisy. Variety of seating is nice, but it can be hard to get a seat. Patio seating is adorable and cute outside. Now for the coffee…Abraço only uses Brazilian roasts, which is rare in the coffee world, but the darker roasts may not cater to every palette. Love that the drip coffee is pourover only…that being said the drip coffee is dark roast and not great…the worst tasting artisanal coffee! Pourovers are great ways to bring out the unique flavors of a light or medium roast coffee, so you really don’t need to make a dark roast with a pourover method. It’s a strange product choice. Coffee . Everything else score: 4.5/5. Overall .
Vegetarian options: Must try sparkling espresso
